If this happens Warriors can fuck off.
How the fuck can they give him that much when he is not better than gui who is making 5m/yr.
@StephenCurry30 fuck loyalty just ask for trade man.
Too much ifs.
The highest possibility is Steph cooking despite being 38yrs old.
His second option is out for more than half of the season who will be 37yrs old.
You are giving 28m to someone who isnot interested in playing basketball anymore.
Too much hope from a rookie to rescue
The Warriors’ Real Deadline Trade: Jimmy Butler’s Return
_Per Anthony Slater_
The Golden State Warriors didn’t need to chase another superstar this offseason.
Their backup plan has been in rehab the whole time.
According to Warriors insider Anthony Slater, Jimmy Butler is a little over five months removed from a torn right ACL. And the biggest news? _“He’s turned the corner a little bit in the last few weeks.”_
That’s all Dub Nation needed to hear.
Butler still isn’t running full sprints. He’s not unrestricted yet.
But progress is progress. And for a 36-year-old who plays like he’s 26, every small step matters.
The current timeline points to a January or February 2027 return — about 11 to 12 months after surgery.
It’s an unfair burden to put on anyone, especially someone turning 37 mid-season. But this is Jimmy Butler we’re talking about.
There’s also motivation.
He becomes extension-eligible in February. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent next summer.
When Slater talked to him last month, Butler was “as confident as ever,” saying he expects to come back as the same player he was when he left.
And that’s the Warriors’ bet.
While other teams chase names, Golden State is choosing health, continuity, and culture.
Pay Draymond.
Develop Yaxel Lendeborg.
Let Steph cook.
Then in the middle of the season, drop in Playoff Jimmy like a trade deadline acquisition.
No panic. No overreaction. Just patience.
The Warriors’ superteam isn’t a new trio.
It’s Steph, Dray, and a healthy Jimmy Butler coming back in January.
If that timeline holds, Golden State didn’t lose the offseason.
They just delayed their biggest move until mid-season.
The Warriors no longer believe they can compete for a championship entering next season, per @NickFriedell
“They can no longer walk into another season believing they have a chance at playing in the biggest games that matter.”

@JSG3_ I know why Charlotte is in consideration but the only reason he should consider leaving warriors is to win one more and that’s only realistic if it is Spurs.
@spaceboymafia@ChefCurryEra@StephenCurry30 - Fox(49m) + Castle(10m) matches Steph salary. One future pick along with that should work since Warrior is taking Fox contract out of Spurs.
- Spurs might want to do it without adding any picks
- I don't think why would Warriors add pick along with Steph.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Memphis Grizzlies are negotiating a buyout and the veteran 3-&-D specialist intends to team back up with LeBron James and sign with the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources tell me.
@Parker2kYT@justerinteen@30Walkemdown30 With spurs fade up with Fox, they might pull that off. Not that it’s happening but how does spurs future draft pick looks like do they have enough to offer for steph.
