A few weeks ago, a signal from another TV station started interfering with our tower on Orcas Island. We sent a crew out to investigate. They checked on the tower with our drone and in the process captured some really cool video of the area.

The bald eagle became a symbol of the United States in 1782.
Since then, generations of Americans have defended the freedoms represented by that symbol.
This Memorial Day, we honor the service members who gave their lives for our country and remember the freedoms that allow Americans to experience and share our public lands and wildlife.
As our nation approaches the Freedom 250 milestone, we remember that freedom has always carried a cost.

Ripples reflection - ⛵️
There’s nothing like sailing across the San Juan Islands when the waters like glass. Just off Lopez Island the #8 Schooner slowly makes its way northwest towards Upright Channel.

Incredible send off ! 🌷 🌷 🪿 🪿 😮
On this day last year, thousands of snow geese took off from a field near McLean Rd. Their migration starts around the first of April, but we got lucky in the middle of the month with tulips in bloom. The way they lift off above the colors is breathtaking. #wawx #pnw #nature
When the photo looks like watercolor 🎨
We were treated to glassy conditions during our encounter with the T34s and T37s Bigg’s killer whales! The Salish Sea is the ultimate canvas for moments like this on our tours 😍
A little memory 🌷
Last year, I filmed this small Savannah sparrow shaking on top of a field of tulips. The droplets falling off its feathers and the tiny breath at the end add to the scene. #wawx#pnw#nature
Spring is baby season in the San Juans! If you see a fawn, kit, or other baby animal alone, don’t fret! Mom’s just out grocery shopping and will be back soon.
If the youngster is not injured or sick, observe from a distance.

Are you celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ? You can, for "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 - NKJV)
A beautiful walk through the tulips and daffodils at Tulip Valley Farms. This place is changing every day with more and more color and it’s just stunning! 🌷 🌼 #wawx#skagitvalleytulipfestival#tulipvalley#pnw
