.@andyburnham@10DowningStreet The infected blood community are waiting to hear from you. We've sent three letters and a book of handwritten letters to No10 asking you to meet with victims. Will you reply?
RT to spread far and wide.
Thousands of families affected by infected blood have spent decades explaining what happened to them.
Now many are being asked to prove events from 30, 40 or 50 years ago.
Records may disappear.
People’s experiences do not.
Their voices still matter.
@andyburnham this community needs help where are you haven’t families suffered enough people are beyond themselves and feel so ignored it isn’t right

Every face on our placard is someone loved. Someone missed. Someone who should still be here. 💛
This Sunday, we remember those taken by infected blood, and the families carrying their love forward.
Always part of our community. Never forgotten.

Well what a fantastic turnout!
Started with a productive and proactive meeting with our MP @KieranMullanUK
We are very lucky to have an MP who took the time out of his very busy schedule to sit with us and listen to our concerns.
We then went across and joined the peaceful protest which was organised by @GlennWilko58 . At 3pm we went to no. 10 with Glenn, Lesley Brownless. @lesleyb1234 Lynne Kelly Haemopilia Wales, Nigel Hamilton haemophilia Northern Island and Sarah Clark to hand in our letters.
We need @andyburnham to #FinishThisFight as stated by Sir Brian Langstaff this was #NotAnAccident

Please share and save this video. ❤️
Every share helps keep the infected blood community visible and keeps the pressure where it belongs.
@andyburnham — please keep standing with these families and help make sure their voices are not allowed to fade away.
Share it. Save it. Keep the story moving.

@andyburnham Ps it's the uk... I pay my car tax people who dont drive for free...
I stick to the 20mph... then get overtaken... by people doing 50+
If I did 23 id get a fine
I dont agree with the building one Andy sorry it would close my sons business
@andyburnham What about people who ask for the job done when the builder has spent out £60000+ and just before they need to pay they say sorry I can't afford this now... is it not pushing the great builders out off business
📰 TO THE JOURNALISTS WHO STOOD WITH INFECTED BLOOD FAMILIES — WE NEED YOU AGAIN.
Many journalists showed enormous compassion and determination while the Infected Blood Inquiry was taking evidence.
You listened.
You gave families a platform.
You helped the public understand the scale of what had happened.
And your reporting mattered.
But the end of the Inquiry wasn't the end of this story.
Families are now living through the next chapter — whether the justice promised after the Inquiry is actually being delivered.
We need journalists asking questions again.
Why are bereaved families still calling for Death Recognition and a direct Bereavement Award?
Why is there no equivalent Supplementary Route for affected people whose exceptional circumstances don't fit standard calculations?
Are the people who actually provided years of unpaid care being properly recognised?
Why are families raising concerns about disparities based on age and circumstances?
And what happens when complex estates and intestacy rules mean compensation doesn't necessarily reach the people who lived through the consequences?
These questions deserve investigation.
Not because we want another headline.
Because we want the promises made to this community to mean something.
To every journalist who cared enough to tell our stories before:
Please come back.
Listen to the families.
Look at what is happening now.
Ask Government and @IBCA_UK the difficult questions.

You helped the country hear us once.
Please help make sure we're not forgotten now. ❤️

Some advice to victims of the blood scandal: read the Regulations. See where your infection lies within them. Check the IBCA is following them. If they are not, take them to court. At least 4 victims are doing that as we speak. You are not alone. Actions speak louder than words!!
@AngelaRayner New council housing is needed... but not built by and on private estates...
They look a mess build proppa council houses on a new council estate... that is the way forward
