Lunch with the bunch

We serve a 2 course meal every Thursday for our older community. We are funded through a chaitable organisation.

We are based at pennypit community hub

Scotch broth soup

Beef stew. Mash, Yorkie pudding and veg

Followed with a lovely cuppa and some homemade scones (made by Joan McNeill) while enjoying a wee game of bingo.

Worked started on site yesterday at Preston Tower and there was an on-site meeting about paths, work began on the archeology dig and an inspection of the doocot.
