My wife and I have fostered many kids of ages 5 and under now, and it still tugs at the heartstrings every time in both good and sad ways.
Fostering itself isn’t the hard part; it’s seeing the neglect so many of these little ones have already endured. Some cases involve physical neglect, but far more often it’s developmental and emotional. The two things we see most are delayed speech and potty training. A four
or five year old may have the vocabulary of a two or three year old, which leads to so much frustration for them when they can’t make themselves understood. Potty training a child that age comes with its own challenges too.
Yet the hardest part is always when a child moves on. You can’t help wondering whether they’ll receive the same consistent care they had with you. We treat every child who walks through our door exactly like our own, making sure they leave with new clothes, toys, and the knowledge that they were fully wanted while they were here.
I don’t mean to make fostering sound like a drag, because it isn’t. So many of these kids are sweet as can be and just want to be near you and have someone to play with. We actually have a lot of fun fostering. I really wish more people would consider fostering, even if it’s just respite care for short stays. It makes a bigger difference than you might imagine.
We actually welcomed a new little one last night, so fostering has been on my mind today. Thought I’d share in case it moves anyone else to take that first step because you never know, you might enjoy it and one day even adopt!
Someone who advocated this strongly for data centers is not going to change on a dime. Jay Collins is just another Byron Donalds when it comes to hyperscale data centers. He wanted them to pick out the land early so everything can be ready. Even added that there are 18 potential deals with a lot of money behind them in the works. Disgusting!
AND he thinks they should be tax exempt.
This is THE issue for me. I will never support someone who would sell the state out to data centers. Never!
@jmj_r74817@RennerWarRoom@Pickledfins It's worse than that. Jay has promoted hyperscale data centers, introducing legislation repeatedly to provide them with tax incentives.
@pbpost Only the bureaucrats are “bracing.” Normal people whose homes are threatened by the government’s power and greed want to have those homes fully protected from that.
Jay Collins IS QUOTED in FL Politics as seeing data centers as FUTURE INVESTMENTS in FL. Collins data proposal LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN for data centers as he doesn't call for moratoriums. Florida First PAUL RENNER is the go to man for a data center MORATORIUM

Israel supporters will point out that Ilhan Omar is lying about what's happening in Lebanon, and rightly so. Problem is that she and President Trump have both misrepresented what's happening in Lebanon by blaming Israel/Netanyahu and completely ignoring the terrorist group Hezbollah, which is solely responsible for the war.
This is what we mean when we say that the President is spewing terrorist propaganda. What Trump is doing is 10x's worse than the Squad has ever done.
100%. This “story” is fabricated out of fiction, and it’s telling this “outlet” didn’t even reach out for comment. The President, the Vice President, and the entire Administration has been fully aligned. Full stop.
Paul Renner speaks to voters in meet & greet in Newberry continuing on his Rural Values tour.He won me over with his FL First campaign & conservative outlook. He's straight forward & open about his likes & dislikes. He did all he proposed to do as Speaker.
