@AnneLindsay7@Miss_Snuffy If she wasn't successful, passionate, speaking from experience... How many schools have you turned around; how much difference have you made in your field? I have never heard of you? I have taught for over three decades. Would love to have taught in her school.
@BadSchoolparent@RogersHistory No, not really. We are far too busy to have the time or inclination to 'target' certain students. Try teaching - you would then be posting from an informed viewpoint.
@Day_V_Lee@F1FanAndGamer@BBCNews Having a laugh? Would it have been 'a laugh' if they had done it to people? Seriously? This is what is wrong with our society...
@legkick1 @FakeHeadteacher @Nicola123452 Doctors? Nurses? Lawyers? Unpaid overtime? It is just an expectation that we will spend 4+ hours a night marking and planning. Weekends. It has been that expectation since I started 37 years ago. Very little thanks except a few exceptional parents who recognise the effort.
@FakeHeadteacher I have taught English for almost 37 years. Here is my weekday: get up 5.45am. In school for 7am. Return home at 5pm. I am local so can walk (no wastage of time travelling). Start working at home at 6pm and usually finish 10.30pm-11pm. I also work Sundays. Fact.
@MrThorntonTeach @TMHistoryIcons Could you possibly recommend a visualiser, please, as I have bought and attempted to use one but it wasn't easy to use. Would be very grateful. Someone has recommended IPEVO but it seems expensive and I have to buy it myself. Thankyou.
