Message to the Pakistani nation by former Prime Minister Imran Khan, from Adiala jail, Rawalpindi:

I commend the Pakistani nation and PTI's political workers, who are fighting for their rights by participating in this peaceful protest, and resolutely standing before the mafia that has imposed itself upon our country, to demand their rights and genuine freedom.

My message for my team is to fight until the last ball is bowled. We will not back down until our demands are met!

On Mohsin Naqvi's instructions, paramilitary Rangers and police relentlessly fired teargas shells and even shot at our political workers, resulting in the martyrdom of and injuries to peaceful, unarmed citizens. Let me tell you, they will have to answer for this!

The protesters were not only peaceful, but they even assisted the very police officers and Rangers who were shooting and firing teargas shells at them (when they were in need of help).

My thanks go to overseas Pakistanis around the globe, who are not only mobilizing Pakistanis and contributing funds, but also holding historic protests in their respective countries.

Social media warriors around the globe should continue to vigorously reiterate our demands and show the world the ongoing oppression in Pakistan!

To those threatening to try me in military court: Do what you must; I will not back down from my stance.

Those who haven't yet joined the protest must also head to D-Chowk.

All Pakistanis participating in the protest must remain peaceful, stay united, and stand firm until our demands are met. Remember, this is a struggle for Pakistan's survival and true freedom!

تحریک انصاف کی جانب سے نیشنل سیکورٹی کمیٹی کے بائیکاٹ کا فیصلہ بالکل درست ہے۔ اس اجلاس میں نہ مجھے بلایا گیا، نہ میری رائے لی گئی اور نہ ہی بلوچستان کے نمائندوں کو بلایا گیا- ان کی نیت اس معاملے میں صاف ہوتی تو میری جماعت کے ارکان کو سب سے پہلے مجھ سے مشاورت کرنے کی اجازت دیتے۔ اس وقت تحریک انصاف پاکستان کی واحد جماعت ہے جس کی سپورٹ تمام وفاقی اکائیوں میں موجود ہے جبکہ پیپلز پارٹی اور نون لیگ سندھ اور پنجاب کے چند مخصوص علاقوں تک محدود ہو کر رہ گئی ہیں- ملک کی سب سے بڑی جماعت اور فیڈریشن کی علامت واحد سیاسی پارٹی کے سربراہ کو باہر رکھ کر کون سا اتفاق رائے حاصل کیا جا سکتا ہے؟

اردلی حکومت کی خارجہ و داخلی پالیسیاں ملک کے لیے زہرِ قاتل ہیں۔ دہشتگردی کا مسئلہ صرف تب حل ہو گا جب اس کا سیاسی حل دریافت کیا جائے گا اور لوگوں کی منشاء کے مطابق ان کے فیصلے ہوں گے۔ دہشتگردی کا مسئلہ صرف فوجی حکمت عملی (Kinetic Operations)سے حل نہیں ہو سکتا۔ ہمسایہ ممالک کو لے کر ہماری خارجہ پالیسی آزاد اور خود مختار ہونی چاہیے۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ معاملات بھی بات چیت سے حل ہونے چاہئیے۔ رجیم چینج کے بعد ان کی غیرسنجیدگی کا اندازہ اس بات سے لگا لیں کہ بلاول نے پوری دنیا کے دورے کیے لیکن ایک بار بھی افغانستان نہیں گیا- فوجی آپریشنز کبھی مسائل کا حل نہیں ہوتے، بڑی بڑی جنگوں کا حل بھی مذاکرات اور امن و استحکام کی کوشش سے ہی نکلتا ہے۔

ملک صرف تب ہی متحد اور مضبوط رہ سکتا ہے جب عوامی مینڈیٹ کا احترام کیا جائے، سیاسی جماعتوں کو ان کی جگہ دی جائے اور اسٹیبلشمنٹ سیاست میں مداخلت سے باز رہے۔ اکہتر میں بھی ایک سیاسی جماعت کو دیوار سے لگایا گیا پھر جو ہوا وہ تاریخ بھلا نہیں پائی-تب بھی اگر سیاسی جماعتوں کو متوازن مواقع ملتے تو ملک دو لخت نہ ہوتا۔ آج بھی لوگوں کی آواز کو دبایا جا رہا ہے اور ان کی نمائندگی کرنے والی سیاسی جماعتوں کا گلا گھونٹا جا رہا ہے۔ بلوچستان میں یہی ماڈل نافذ کیا گیا جس کی وجہ سے آج وہاں کے حالات بے قابو ہیں۔ جب تک عوام کی نمائندہ حکومتوں کو اقتدار منتقل نہیں کیا جائے گا یہ مسائل جوں کے توں رہیں گے بلکہ بڑھتے جائیں گے۔

اردلی حکومت مجھ پر دباؤ بڑھانے کے لیے تمام غیر قانونی ہتھکنڈے استعمال کر رہی ہے۔ میری اہلیہ کو بے جا جیل میں ڈالا گیا ہے۔ نہ تو یحیٰی خان نے مجیب الرحمٰن کی اہلیہ کو جیل میں ڈالا، نہ جنرل ضیا نے بھٹو کی اہلیہ کو جیل میں ڈالا، اور نہ ہی مشرف نے کلثوم نواز کو جیل میں ڈالا، مگر اس اسٹیبلشمنٹ نے اخلاقی پستی کی بدترین سطح پر پہنچ کر میری اہلیہ کوبھی جعلی کیسز میں پابندِ سلاسل کر رکھا ہے۔

پچھلے قریباً ایک ہفتے سے میری مواصلات کے ذرائع تک رسائی پر کڑی بندش ہے۔ حالاتِ حاضرہ سے بےخبر رکھنے کیلئے ٹی وی دیکھنے پر پابندی عائد ہے اور اخبار اور کتابوں کی ترسیل بھی معطل ہے۔ میرے بچوں سے میری بات نہیں کروائی گئی۔ بار بار یاددہانی کے باوجود مروّجہ طریقے کے مطابق 90 دنوں میں میری اہلیہ سے 72 گھنٹے کی ملاقات بھی نہیں کروائی جارہی۔ میرے ذاتی معالج کو مجھ سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی جا رہی نہ ہی ڈینٹسٹ کو ملوایا جا رہا ہے۔ میرے پارٹی رہنماؤں سے ملاقات بھی نہیں کروائی گئی۔ مجھے مکمل طور پر بے خبر رکھا گیا تا کہ اے پی سی کے بارے میں مجھے علم نہ ہو سکے۔

یہ جو کچھ بھی کر لیں میں ان کی فسطائیت کے آگے نہ ہی پہلے جھکا تھا نہ ہی اب جھکوں گا- میں پاکستان کی حقیقی آزادی کے لیے کھڑا تھا، کھڑا ہوں اور کھڑا رہوں گا ۔ چاہے مجھے تمام عمر جیل کاٹنی پڑے۔ میں انشاللہ اپنے ملک اور اپنی قوم کی خودمختاری کے لیے آخری سانس تک لڑوں گا۔”

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Conversation with his Lawyers and Family Members in Adiala Jail - March 19, 2025

"The scourge of terrorism in the country is out of control. The tragic incident of the Jafar Express is deeply saddening and condemnable. Such organized terrorist attacks raise serious questions about any country’s security. No one can feel the pain of losing precious military and civilian lives to terrorism as profoundly as we do, because PTI is the only political party with majority support across all provinces. Unfortunately, all agencies are focused on eliminating PTI instead of preventing terrorism.

PTI’s decision to boycott the National Security Committee meeting is absolutely justified. I was neither invited to the meeting nor was my opinion sought, and even the representatives of Balochistan were excluded. They would have first consulted with members of my party if they genuinely intended to address this issue. PTI is currently the only political party in Pakistan with support across all federal units, whereas PPP and PML-N are confined to specific regions of Sindh and Punjab. How can national consensus be achieved while excluding the leader of the country’s largest political party and the true symbol of the federation?

The subservient [to the military establishment] government’s foreign and domestic policies are proving to be disastrous for the country. The issue of terrorism can only be resolved through a political solution that aligns with the people’s will. Terrorism cannot be eradicated solely through kinetic military operations. Our foreign policy regarding neighboring countries must be independent and sovereign. Issues with Afghanistan should also be resolved through dialogue. Since the regime change, their lack of seriousness is evident from the fact that Bilawal toured the entire world but did not visit Afghanistan even once. Military operations have never been the solution— even major wars have ultimately ended through negotiations and sincere efforts for peace and stability.

The country can only remain united and strong if the public mandate is respected, political parties are allowed to function freely, and the establishment refrains from interfering in politics. In 1971, a political party was sidelined, and history has not forgotten what followed. The country would not have been divided back then had fair opportunities been given to political parties. Today, once again, the people’s voices are being suppressed, and political parties representing them are being strangled. The same oppressive model has been imposed in Balochistan, which is why the situation there has spiraled out of control. Until representative governments of the people are given power, these issues will persist and worsen.

The imposed regime is using all unlawful tactics to pressure me. My wife has been unjustly imprisoned. Yahya Khan did not jail Mujibur Rahman’s wife, neither did General Zia imprison Bhutto’s wife, nor did Musharraf incarcerate Kulsoom Nawaz. But this establishment has reached the lowest level of moral decline by imprisoning my wife in fabricated cases.

My communication has been severely restricted for nearly a week. To keep me uninformed about current affairs, television access has been banned, and newspapers and books are not being delivered. I have been denied contact with my children. Despite repeated reminders, the standard provision of a 72-hour meeting within 90 days with my wife has not been granted. My personal doctor is not allowed to meet me, nor is my dentist. My party leaders have also been barred from visiting me. I have been kept in complete isolation to prevent me from learning about the All Parties Conference (APC). 1/2

“آٹھ فروری کو آپ کا مینڈیٹ چرایا گیا لہذا اس روز کو بطور یوم سیاہ منانے کے لیے آپ سب کو نکلنا ہو گا۔

کسانوں، مزدوروں، وکلاء اور ملک کے ہر مکتبہ فکر سے منسلک افراد کو 8 فروری کو نکل کر اپنے حق پر ڈالے گئے ننگے ڈاکے کے خلاف احتجاج کرنا ہو گا کیونکہ غلام قوم کا کوئی مستقبل نہیں ہوتا اور غلامی سے نجات کے لیے جدوجہد ضروری ہوتی ہے ۔

آٹھ فروری کو اس قوم کا مینڈیٹ چرا کر ملک کو اندھیروں میں دھکیلا گیا۔ پاکستانی قوم نے تمام تر مشکلات کے باوجود جوق در جوق نکل کر تحریک انصاف کے حق میں ووٹ ڈالا مگر آپ کے ووٹ کو پیروں تلے روند کر جمہوریت پر شب خون مارا گیا۔ ملک میں جمہوریت کے ہاتھ پاؤں باندھ کر انسانی حقوق کی دھجیاں بکھیر دی گئیں۔

اوورسیز پاکستانی جمہوریت کی بحالی تک ترسیلات زر میں کمی لا کر اپنا احتجاج ریکارڈ کروائیں-

جمہوریت بچانے کے لیے انصاف ناگزیر ہے، 9 مئی اور 26 نومبر کے واقعات پر جوڈیشل کمیشن کا ہمارا مطالبہ اسی لیے ہے تاکہ ان واقعات کے متاثرہ افراد اور خاندانوں کو انصاف مل سکے۔ انصاف دینے کے لیے اخلاقی جرأَت کا ہونا اہم ہے۔ جہاں اخلاقی قوت موجود ہو گی وہاں انصاف بھی ہو گا۔ ایک حقیقی لیڈر میں اخلاقی قوت موجود ہوتی ہے۔ جمہوریت کی بنیاد ہی اخلاقیات پر ہے۔ موجودہ حکومت اخلاقیات سے بالکل عاری ہے کیونکہ انھوں نے اپنے ہینڈلرز کے ساتھ مل کر تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا ڈاکہ مار کر عوام کو ان کے نمائندگان چننے کے حق سے محروم کیا۔ اس ڈاکے کی پردہ پوشی کے لیے مسلسل جعلی اور نا مکمل پارلیمان کے ذریعے قانون سازی کی جا رہی ہے تاکہ حق اور سچ سامنے نہ آئے اور ان کے جھوٹے اقتدار کو طول ملتا رہے۔ ملک میں آئین کی دھجیاں بکھیر دی گئی ہیں، آزادی اظہار رائے پر پابندی ہے، پیکا جیسے قوانین منظور کیے گئے ہیں تاکہ کوئی ان کی فسطائیت کے خلاف آواز نہ اٹھا سکے، الیکٹرانک میڈیا کے بعد سوشل میڈیا پر پابندی لگا کر ملک کو اربوں کا نقصان پہنچایا جا رہا ہے، 26ویں آئینی ترمیم کے ذریعے عدلیہ کے پر کاٹ دئیے گئے ہیں، ججز پر دباؤ ڈالا گیا اور انسانی حقوق کی بدترین پامالی کی جا رہی ہے۔ پر امن سیاسی کارکنان کے ساتھ جانوروں جیسا سلوک کیا جا رہا ہے۔

خفیہ اداروں کا اصل کام سرحدوں کا تحفظ اور دہشتگردی سے بچاؤ ہے، اگر وہ پولیٹیکل انجنئیرنگ اور تحریک انصاف کو توڑنے میں ہی لگے رہیں گے تو سرحدوں کا تحفظ کون کرے گا؟
بلوچستان میں دہشتگردی پنپ رہی ہے اور وہاں کے مسئلے کا کوئی سیاسی حل نہیں نکال رہا۔ بلوچستان سمیت ملک بھر میں جب تک عوامی اعتماد پر مشتمل حکومت نہیں لائی جائے گی، استحکام ممکن نہیں ہے”

"The political victimization of women and the tarnishing of their dignity is against our societal, moral, and religious values. Bushra Bibi is not a politician. Targeting her just to pressure me is absolutely condemnable. She has had to endure cruelty only because she is my wife. Using women as targets in politics is the height of moral decay.

Let me reiterate that our party workers, including myself, would prefer being in jail over accepting the dictatorship of Yahya Khan Part 2. I will not compromise on the struggle for our genuine freedom, no matter how much pressure is exerted on me. The Hamoodur Rahman Commission report states clearly that Yahya Khan split the country in two to save his own hold on power. Even today, Yahya Khan Part 2 is playing the same game.

Human rights are being blatantly trampled upon in Pakistan under a brutal dictatorship hidden behind the veil of a so-called democratic government. Heinous mental and physical torture has been inflicted on prisoners in military custody. Even now, no visits are being permitted with those still in custody. This is unconstitutional, and a violation of their fundamental human rights. Over 100,000 raids were conducted on homes of PTI supporters in Punjab alone. Thousands of innocent workers were arrested. Even women and children were not spared. PTI stands firm despite all this.

Only those who live under the shadow of fear compromise on principles and ideology. I fear no one but God. Faith gives one the strength to never bow down to anyone. Only those who lack faith bow down (in fear). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was the greatest leader of all time, taught us through his life that no matter how intense the trials, one must remain steadfast for the truth and never bow down to anyone but God.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's struggle is to ensure the ascendancy of democracy, the rule of law, independent judiciary and media, and the protection of basic civil rights. We will succeed because we are on the side of the truth. I will struggle for it until my last breath, and my nation must not back down either!

The verdict in the Al-Qadir Trust case has exposed Pakistan’s judiciary to global ridicule. In a clumsy attempt to distort facts, the sold-out media labeled it a ‘sham trust.’ The Al-Qadir Trust is neither Bilawal House nor Avenfield House — it is an institution aimed at introducing students to the Seerah [life, example, and experiences] of the Prophet.

It is obvious that Malik Riaz was threatened, leading his son to buy a property in London worth nine billion rupees for eighteen billion. The prosecution has not yet been able to prove money-laundering took place. Yet, charges were filed against me and my wife, who did not derive financial benefit of even a single penny. If the charge against me is due to holding public office, on what grounds was Bushra Bibi, a housewife, targeted? Another absurdity is the government’s takeover of Al-Qadir University, which isn’t even government property. Under what law can the government seize trust property?

The so-called ‘sealed envelope’ can be opened by the government and investigation agencies. They should reveal its contents to the public so the truth can come out. But nothing will be made public when the sole purpose of a case is propaganda and a barrage of lies.

We will observe February 8th as a Black Day nationwide. On this day, the mandate of the Pakistani people was blatantly stolen. A fake government was imposed through rigged Form 47 (election) results, disregarding the people's will. I direct Ali Amin Gandapur to organize caravans from across KP to gather in Peshawar on February 8th for protests. I also instruct the legal community, including the Insaf Lawyers Forum and other (PTI) wings, to observe this day with vigorous protests. 1/2

یہ جنگ اپنے فیصلہ کن مرحلے میں ہے اللہ کے فضل سے ہم اپنی حقیقی آزادی کی لڑائی جیت رہے ہیں۔ اقتدار پر قابض ظالم ہمیں خوف زدہ کر کے ہماری جیت کو شکست میں بدلنا چاہتے ہیں۔چنانچہ آپ بے خوف ہو کر نکلیں اور یاد رکھیں کہ اگر اب بھی آپ نے آگے بڑھ کر خود کو حقیقی طور پر آزاد کروانے میں ہچکچاہٹ سے کام لیا تو یہ ظالم آپ کو چیونٹیوں کی طرح مسل کر رکھ دیں گے اور آپ کی آئندہ نسلوں کو بھی اپنا غلام بنا لیں گے جن پر ان کی اولادیں حکومت کریں گی۔

سپریم کورٹ میں ڈرامہ چل رہا ہے اور میں نے تاریخ میں اتنا بےشرم چیف جسٹس نہیں دیکھا جو اپنی ذاتی ایکسٹنشن (اپنی نوکری کی مدت میں توسیع) کی خاطر ہر وہ فیصلہ دے رہا ہے جس کی قانون اور آئین اجازت نہیں دیتے۔ قاضی “ایکسٹینشن گینگ آف تھری” کا حصہ ہوتے ہوئے پاکستانی قوم کے حقوق کا تحفظ کرنے کی بجائے ان کو ایکسٹینشن مافیا اور پی ڈی ایم کا غلام بنا رہا ہے۔ کسی بھی ملک میں عوام کے حقوق کا دفاع عدلیہ کی ذمہ داری ہوتی ہے۔ لیکن یہاں چیف جسٹس خود ہی عوام کے حقوق کا خون کر رہا ہے۔ دنیا میں کہاں ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ کوئی جج عدالت میں بیٹھ کر اپنی ملازمت بچانے کیلئے آئین و قانون کو روند کر اپنے ہی حق میں فیصلے کرتا رہے۔ یہ کانفلیکٹ آف انٹرسٹ (مفادات کے تصادم) کی بدترین مثال ہے۔ اس نے جمہوریت اور اخلاقیات کا جنازہ نکال دیا ہے۔ ججز اخلاقی برتری کی بنیاد پر عدالتوں میں بیٹھتے اور فیصلے کرتے ہیں۔ قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کی شکل میں بطور چیف جسٹس عوام کے حقوق کے سب سے بڑے محافظ نے عوام کے حقوق پر سب سے بڑا ڈاکہ ڈالاہے۔

جنرل جیلانی کی گود میں پلنے والے نے چپ کا روزہ توڑا ہے اور پاکستان کے باشعور عوام کو بھیڑ بکریاں قرار دیا ہے۔ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی مدد سے ہمیشہ اقتدار میں آنے والے کی نظر میں جمہوریت کا مطلب ہمیشہ بوٹ کو عزت دینا ہی ہوتا ہے۔ اسے کیا معلوم کہ باشعور عوام اور ان کے ووٹ کا تقدس کیا ہے۔ عوام اچھی طرح جانتے ہیں کہ تم 2 مرتبہ ڈیل کر کے بیرون ملک بھاگے اور جیل گئےت و وہاں رو رو کر تم نےجیل کے سارے ٹشو پیپرز ہی ختم کر ڈالے۔ عوام یہ بھی اچھی طرح جانتے ہیں کہ میرے جیسی جیل میں تو تم نے ایک دن بھی نہیں گزارا۔ یا تو بیماری کا بہانہ بنا کر ہسپتال کے بیڈ پر لیٹے رہے یا فائیو سٹار سہولیات کے ساتھ کسی سرکاری مہمان خانے میں بیٹھ کر معافیاں اور این آر او کی بھیک مانگتے رہے۔ اب عوام باشعور ہوچکے ہیں اور تمہارا اصلی چہرہ ان پر بےنقاب چکا ہے۔

لندن پلان کے مطابق اس لیکشن میں تمھاری جماعت نے 20 سیٹیں تک نہیں جیتیں جبکہ لندن پلان کے مطابق تمہیں کپتان ہونا تھا لیکن تھرڈ ایمپائر تمہیں Deceive (دھوکہ دے کر) کر کے خود ہی کپتان بن گیا اور تمہیں بارہواں کھلاڑی بنا دیا۔

میں وفاقی حکومت کی جانب سے اپنے غلام آئی جی خیبر پختونخواہ کے ذریعے صوبائی حکومت کی مرضی اور اجازت کے بغیر امن جرگے پر حملے اور پرتشدد کاروائی کی شدید الفاظ میں مزمت کرتا ہوں۔ آئی جی کے ذریعے وفاقی حکومت کا یہ اقدام صوبائی امور میں کھلی مداخلت اور صوبائی خود مختاری پر کھلا حملہ ہے۔
