Moving to a SCHENGEN country sounds like a win, but the truth is that EUROPEAN COUNTRIES aren't equal when it comes to job opportunities, good salaries, and clear pathways to permanent residency. While top-tier giants like Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland offer booming job markets and strong infrastructure, lower-tier options like Portugal, Malta, or Poland often leave international students stranded with low wages, language barriers, and dead-end residency tracks. Beautiful as they are for a holiday, moving there to build a career might leave you stranded in a place that feels like a village, so you must choose your destination based on economic power and jobs rather than just a cheap tuition fee or an easy visa.
Best wishes
INEC we came here to warn you guys, if you know you are prepared to be used to rig election come 2027, better right your will down..
— Well meaning Nigerian
🚨🎙️Thierry Henry on Norway's Viking themed World Cup photoshoot:
“When I saw the photos, I smiled. People will call it a photoshoot, but for Norwegians it represents something much bigger than football. It represents where we come from.
The Vikings were never afraid of travelling into unknown territory, and this Norway team is doing the same by going to the World Cup believing they can compete with anyone.
Of course, dressing like Vikings looks great in pictures. But now comes the important part. Vikings were remembered because of what they did, not how they looked.
If this generation wants those photos to become iconic, they have to make sure the football matches the image. Because the world will remember victories far longer than a photoshoot.”
"We used to give you money, but now that you've started kidnapping us and using the money we give you to buy guns to terrorise us, we've stopped."
—Ogbomosho residents to suspected Hausa/Fulani beggars
Did you hear that Fulani boy say bandits are disturbing them in the bush? He was telling the truth. 💯
As a survivor of kidnapping and banditry, I can never forget the third guy(Awal) we escaped with. He was a young Fulani boy kidnapped while grazing his oga’s cows. His oga paid ₦5 million ransom, yet they still refused to release him. They kept demanding more money.
For 35 days, that boy suffered in captivity with us. No proper food, no peace, only fear, hunger, torture, and uncertainty. By God’s miracle, we escaped alive together.
Bandits do not care about tribe, religion, or background. They kidnap Christians, Muslims, Hausa, Yoruba, Fulani, Igbo anybody they can get. Pain has no tribe. Fear has no religion.
The sad truth is that Nigerians are all in deep trouble if this insecurity continues like this. 🥹💔
In my entire life, I have never seen a group of political supporters as intellectually dishonest and evil as Bola Tinubu's defenders.
He conveniently brought up an old video of Nnamdi Kanu, pointed to the silence of the fulani's, yet carefully avoided mentioning the one person who ultimately bears responsibility for national security, the Commander-in-Chief himself, Bola Tinubu.
To an uncritical audience, it may look like genuine concern. But to anyone paying attention, it's obvious what is happening: redirect the blame everywhere else while shielding Tinubu from even the slightest criticism.
Anuohia!
Did you know that one hectare of plantain is more profitable than building a house for rental?
Compare the cost and return of 1ha of plantain vs the cost and return of building a house to rent out per month. When you lay the numbers side by side, the reality is staggering.
Look at the Year 1 Gross Return: a single hectare of plantain can bring in ~₦6.5 Million, while a standard rental property brings in a meager ~₦600,000. By Year 2, the gap widens into a canyon. Thanks to the ratoon crop cycle where the plants multiply on their own, the plantain plantation brings a Net Return of ~₦11.8 Million, while the house is still stuck at ~₦600,000 (minus maintenance costs).
What we are talking about here is the Velocity of Capital. With bananas, you are dealing with Aggressive Compounding; with real estate, it is Static & Slow.
Of course, there's the possibility that the banana plants might die 😅 and whatever challenge you can think of, every investment has its primary risks, whether it's pests, wind, and disease on the farm, or dealing with problematic tenants in a building. But should they not die and should the challenges be navigated successfully, I think a house to rent out can wait.
You will also find that if you play your cards right, reinvest the proceeds, and compound over time, plantain can build you HOUSES. As time passes, you'll look back and realize you kept your plantain plants producing while successfully diversifying into premium Real Estate.
Or, or you can let fear drive you and so you take 600000 , lock it up in bricks, and start to wait for 600k a year .
Take these things, ⚖️ them, and make the most logical choices.
"They tell us to hate Igbos and never allow them to become President. Yet, it is our own northern brothers who are killing our people every day. And the same people that tell us to hate Igbos are the ones defending our killers.
Maybe it's time we focus on the real problems instead of being divided by ethnicity."
I can remember the day my man corrected me about something. I was making fried eggs for breakfast and just as I was about to add salt, the cap fell off and a generous amount landed in the raw eggs. My village people paid me a visit that morning 😂😂😂.
I quickly scooped out as much as I could and thankfully the eggs were not overly salty, but you could tell there was a little extra salt in them.
The funny thing is, he didn't mention it that day. It wasn't until another time when I made the another meal and got the taste right that he casually said, "You know, that egg you made the other day was slightly salty."
I thanked him for telling me, apologized, and explained what had happened with the salt container. He looked genuinely surprised and said, "Wait, are you serious? You didn't get upset?" 😂
I told him, "No. You told me the truth. Thank you for pointing it out. I'll be more careful next time and that was the end of it.
One thing people need to understand is that when two people come together in a relationship, they are coming from different backgrounds, different experiences, and different upbringings. The purpose of dating is not just romance. It is also a period of learning, studying, and understanding each other.
In that process, adjustments will have to be made. Both people must be teachable and willing to grow. Nobody is 100% perfect, and that applies to both the man and the woman. There will be habits to unlearn, perspectives to broaden, and areas that need improvement.
With good communication, understanding, and mutual respect, two people can build something beautiful together. But that can only happen when both are willing to be a little vulnerable and open to correction.
Pride has destroyed many good things that could have been fixed with a simple conversation. Growth becomes easier when correction is not seen as an attack, but as an opportunity to become better for each other.

Thank God for social media!😂😭
I was applying for something this evening and I didn't know that I'd be needing my WAEC certificate(I've not collected it since I left secondary school)
I just remembered that someone posted something about it months ago, I searched for it, followed the process, paid and got it immediately.
Thank you for this.
Because of you, I was able to complete my application tonight.
I saved for months to attend a Christian conference where my favorite preacher was ministering.
Not just any seat.
Front row.
Close enough to hear every word clearly.
Before the session started, a lady tapped my shoulder.
“Hi,” she smiled softly. “My church group is seated here, but my ticket is for the overflow hall downstairs.
Would you mind swapping with me?”
I looked at her badge, then mine.
“I’m really sorry,” I said kindly, “but I sacrificed a lot to be here.”
Her expression changed immediately.
She turned to her friends and said loudly,
“Imagine coming to a Christian gathering and refusing to show love.”
Another girl added,
“We’re believers.
Why are Christians so selfish these days?”
I stayed quiet for a moment, then replied gently:
“If giving away a seat is the loving thing to do, why doesn’t one of you swap with her and sit downstairs?”
Silence.
Nobody moved.
Nobody volunteered.
And in that moment, I learned something important:
Many people admire sacrifice when it costs someone else.
But wisdom is knowing that saying “no” does not make you less like Christ.
Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement
My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement.
I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down.
To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down.
I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this.
Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly.
With humility and hope for forgiveness,
Your brother in this struggle,
Morris Monye.
Oya come let’s hug. 😊

My brother-in-law runs his own data center/GPU farm at home.
Currently makes him ~$3k/month profit. 30% solar powered. Aiming to get to 60% by end of this summer which will increase profits significantly (mostly down to adding batteries, not panels), then will buy more GPUs.
He sells the compute via some 3rd party service that takes a cut. Apparently a lot of ML/rendering workloads.
You can just do stuff!
