What should’ve been a smooth process, even after the Embassy kindly opened a slot, turned into a mess. @VFSGlobal charges a premium but can’t even handle basic coordination. Atrocious fees, pathetic service. This investigation exposes exactly what’s broken.

@rajaramvb I did not stay at the scene - appears they are locals but the cops later called that they have collected documents - for me it's a closed scenario - did my job as a alert citizen. Hope this incident stays documented is all I can think of.

Big container truck unloading two wheelers from different State registration. Many unloaded and many more cramped in. Maybe legit, but definitely suspicious

@rajaramvb I raised a 112 call! & they were super responsive - Both Traffic and Crime came to the scene and checked the consignment - apparently, these are being bought to be stripped down before they are packed off to Uttarakhand is what I was told... beats my logic..why is a DL bike here

@rajaramvb @CyrusDhabhar I keep wondering too. Carnet de Passage isthe biggest, most pointless barrier to take out machines. Meanwhile, ferries around world operate freely, sumtimes even gratis with an apology for not having a bridge. TIP system, lke Nepal&Bhutan, would open the doors for so many of us.

Kodathi Road water tankers are a law unto themselves. This one cut in from the extreme left, blocked the entire junction by parking sideways, & casually jumped the signal. Reported it to ASI Shabana Ma'am, Kodathi gate even her team seems powerless against these traffic bullies.
