🇸🇪 A Tiny Missile Could Solve Europe’s Drone Defence Crisis.

🇸🇪 Swedish aerospace startup Nordic Air Defence (NAD) has unveiled The Kreuger Drone Interceptor System, a low-cost mini-missile designed to counter swarms of UAVs.

🇸🇪 The interceptor has been unveiled at a time when the West is looking at a safe, reliable, and effective solution to the drone issue. The use of Drones in the Russia-Ukraine and the U.S.-Israel wars has showcased their destructive capability.

🇸🇪 The Kreuger 100 uses a battery-powered propulsion system and software-defined flight control, replacing much of the conventional onboard hardware with advanced control algorithms and intelligent aerodynamics, reducing the cost and complexity of each unit.

🇸🇪 The interceptor incorporates an infrared tracking system capable of operating around the clock, including in varied weather conditions such as cloud cover and at night, to help discriminate and pursue aerial targets.

🇸🇪 This tracking capability, paired with its software-centric architecture, manages target detection, classification and engagement without reliance on expensive conventional sensors, cameras, or complex guidance hardware common in traditional missiles, according to Army Recognition.

@lamula Asi, p.ej. si FAME quiere vender un fusil puede entrar a competir porque su producto va a estar codificado dentro del Sistema. No implica necesariamente que vas a venderle a la OTAN de inmediato, pero si podrá presentarse y competir con otras industrias.
