The book chronicles the remarkable journey and enduring legacy of the Indian Air Force's Transport Fleet over nine decades.

The CAS also interacted with veterans and distinguished members of the strategic community.

Maj Gen Bimal Monga, SM, VSM, ADG NCC Dte Guj visited 37 Guj Bn & 1 Guj Arty Bty at Ahmedabad where he interacted with Cdts, Officers and Pl staff. The ADG commended the efforts of the Battalions and complimented the Officers and Staff for thier exemplary work. While interacting with the cdts, he emphasized on the importance of adhering to the ideals and motto of NCC and embracing technology to prepare for the future. He also urged the cadets to be "Disaster Ready, Digitally Aware and Socially Reformed" to purposefully contribute towards "Sashakt and Viksit Bharat".

Major General Varun Malhotra, took over the command of Headquarters Uttar Maharashtra & Gujarat Sub Area on 10 July 2026.

Commissioned into Corps of Engineers, The Bombay Sappers, the General Officer brings with him over three decades of experience and distinguished service across a wide spectrum of command, instructional and staff appointments.

On assuming command, he interacted with officers and all ranks. He complimented them for their professionalism and exhorted all personnel to maintain the highest standards of operational preparedness while remaining vigilant to emerging security challenges.

[C PRO South Western Air Command @SWAC_IAF]

Air Force School Gandhinagar successfully conducted a three-day workshop on 'Promoting Inclusive Practices and Supporting Children with Special Needs' from 07-09 Jul 26 under the aegis of HQ SWAC. The workshop brought together students, parents, staff, Special Educators and nominated teachers from Air Force Schools across the SWAC AOR to promote inclusive education and strengthen support systems for Children with Special Needs.

The sessions were conducted by Dr Shilpa Sharma from Psych Chetna Institute of Mumbai and experts from Composite Regional Centre, Ahmedabad. The workshop concluded with an inspiring address by AVM GS Bhullar, Chairman, Command School Management Committee, reaffirming IAF's commitment towards inclusive and equitable education for all.
