H & two friends. Gentlemen, critics, conservatives; London homosexuals. Cut-glass accent, manners. The Arts, English syntax & grammar. Mores faciat vita hominis
@NeilBell2@justdavenow89 👏👏I agree Neil, but I would argue that this principle should also apply to “ethnically British” people too.
The repeat offender, rioters, and the serially anti-social should be deported regardless of parentage or birthplace. We will be happier without such riff-raff.
@MyArrse Deport the lot of them! Every single convicted paedophile should be given a choice between 100 years in prison or permanent deportation to Rwanda.
Skin colour, birthplace and parentage are irrelevant.
@AlexWillows2000@captian29506@ThomasWillett9 It appears that @captian29506 would be acting in a proportionate and moderate manner.
Those men who swagger in to the ladies do so with full knowledge and expectation of what the consequences may be.
@ThomasWillett9 Why would they respectively want to Thomas? Transwomen use gents’ toilets all the time without incident. They have been doing so for decades.
@DannyBeales Hello Danny, 79 year old gay man here. Like some other gay men I include transwomen when dating. They usually use the gents toilets without incident; why wouldn’t they?
Were I to be a member of a choir for homosexuals, then any of these TW would be welcome to join.
#Inclusivity
@lilith0h0p Hello Lilith.
I have dated scores of transwomen, and would never consider myself to be anything other than a homosexual man.
I do hope I haven’t been doing things incorrectly as I approach 80…
@Mcbeath_on_sea I don’t think it can be overreach if the court is the final arbiter.
It is however a shame that all of the ponds are now, in effect, mixed sex. I have visited on scores of occasions and cannot help but think something has been lost.
@SamanthaNiblet4 It can be rather coercive and, to make matters worse, a poor use of English.
Language does develop it is true, and sometimes in highly regressive ways.
@JenniferB812 Some of we male homosexuals date transwomen; I include myself in that.
The reason we do so is because we instinctively recognise, and accept, TW as our fellow males. Being told that they are not actually men undermines the notion of same-sex attraction.
@labourlewis One should bear in mind that the situation with the Hampstead ponds is the very opposite of inclusive. Allowing men (even unorthodox ones), unfettered access to previously female spaces is a hard-right ideology dressed up as progressivism.
@SquidCynical@LilithGMarshell@PulaRJS Possibly, however one should also acknowledge that transwomen have been asked to leave ladies facilities during the same era.
Moreover, TW have been using the gents toilets for decades, at least here in London.
@PulaRJS I disagree regarding the supposed impossibility of knowing someone’s biological sex; it seems to be at odds with the experience of every person ever.
I think we can dependably rely on intuition and instincts, rather than wasting time on risqué questions.
@NotThatDragonD You are apparently advocating the statutory recognition of thoughtcrime.
Whilst this is an interesting academic experiment, it comes from a position on the authoritarian extreme-right.
@TheRealJamieKay I’m not so sure that ‘gender’ is being used as a proxy, but biological sex is entirely relevant.
Women and young children should be prioritised and welcomed here. 🇬🇧
