🧵 How I Would Land a Web3 Job in 2025 (Even If I Was Starting From Scratch)

Let’s be real…

Most people applying for Web3 jobs are doing it wrong.
They spam random founders.
They copy/paste cold DMs.
They send boring resumes no one reads.

Here's what actually works:

1. Know your angle before you apply

Don’t just say “I want a job.”
Founders are flooded with vague messages like that every day.

Instead, pick your lane:
→ Community builder
→ Content creator
→ Research & alpha hunter
→ Meme king
→ PM or Ops
→ Dev

→ Make your X profile reflect that.
Pin a thread, showcase value, have a clean bio.

2. Study what founders REALLY want

Go to where they hang out:
Telegram, Farcaster, X, Discord.
See what problems they complain about.

Example:
“Engagement is down”
→ you could offer help with memes, storytelling, community buzz

“Looking for growth”
→ offer to test paid ads, partnerships, or activation campaigns

Show them you get them.

3. Use the right tools to find jobs — not just luck

In this video, we explore the Vertical Horizontal Filter (VHF) in cTrader - an indicator used to assess trend strength and help distinguish between trending and ranging market conditions.

You’ll learn where to find the VHF in cTrader, how to customise its levels and appearance, and how traders use it to evaluate whether market conditions are strengthening or weakening.

We also look at how the VHF compares the price range over a selected period with the cumulative price movement over that same period, helping traders understand whether the market is showing stronger directional movement or moving into weaker, more ranging conditions.

The video also shows how traders may use the VHF to:
• Identify stronger trending conditions when the indicator rises
