#IndianNavy in a closely coordinated #SearchAndRescue operation with @IndiaCoastGuard, DG Shipping and other stakeholders, has safely rescued 18 out of 22 crew members Singaporean Flagged MV Wan Hai 503. The MV had reported internal container explosion and resultant major fire onboard.

The inputs of the incident were received at @IFC_IOR at about 0930 hr on #09Jun 25.
#INSSurat and a Dornier aircraft were immediately deployed by the #IndianNavy to render necessary assistance, and at about 1630 hr, 18 out of 22 crew members were safely rescued by #Surat.

First aid has been rendered to the injured crew members and the ship is presently proceeding to New Mangalore for disembarkation and further medical management.

ये है ‘नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय’ जिसका उद्घाटन प्रधानमंत्री करने जा रहे हैं। यह वास्तुकला का एक भयावह उदाहरण है जिसकी प्रेरणा बिहार के खेतों में सतत जलने नाली ईंट की भट्ठियों से ली गई है। लाल रंग, चौड़ा आधार, तिरछा होता ऊर्ध्वगामी छोर। बाकी धुआँ हम बिहारियों के हर जगह से इसे देख कर निकल ही रहा है।

दूसरे छायाचित्र में एक अर्धगोलाकार संरचना है, जिसका ऊपर से खतना कर दिया गया है। इसमें जो काली वर्गाकार खिड़कियाँ हैं, वह किसी चिड़ियाँ बेचने वाले की हवादार टोकरी से प्रेरित लगते हैं जो बिहार के गाँवों में आपको पहले दिख जाया करते थे।

तीसरे छायाचित्र में माचिस की खुली और बंद डिब्बियाँ हैं जिसमें हमारा बचपन बालू भर कर, धागे से खींच कर सड़कों पर दौड़ते हुए डिलिवर करने में बीता है। बिहार के रेत माफिया को दी गई यह श्रद्धांजलि नमन योग्य है।

चौथे छायाचित्र से बिहार क�� कच्ची शराब की भट्ठियों का स्मरण हो उठता है। वही मटमैला रंग और धुएँ निकालने वाली खिड़कियाँ। सीढ़ियाँ तो ऐसे बनाई गई हैं जैसे मिस्र का पिरामिड लाते समय तीव्र वायु वेग में ऊपर से ढह गया हो। बिहार में हवा से ढहते पुल की स्मृति हमारे हृदय में शेष है।

कुल मिला कर ऐसी वास्तुकला जो बिहार के गाँव-घर की स्मृति का स्थूल चिह्न प्रतीत होता है। ऐसी भयानकता बहुत कम देखने को मिलती है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जैसे सँवरने वाले लोग, वहाँ स्वयं को फैशनेबली आउट ऑफ प्लेस फील करेंगे।

अकादमिक बर्बादी तो अमर्त्य सेन फैला कर गया ही है, ये चक्षुओं को चुभने वाली शैली हमें दशकों तक रुलाती रहेगी। अभी भी पुराने नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय का खंडहर इतना सुंदर है कि वहाँ जाने के पश्चात आपको यह बिहार पर रोने को विवश कर देगा।
