I was about to write something about the pain of seeing my alma mater under attack; @SoloGen & @ShabnamHZare (and countless others) beat me to it. Just pointing out that this is not just at Sharif, every university in every town, every city large or small, everywhere #MahsaAmini
My alma mater, #SharifUniversity of Technology, is under siege. There are reports of students being beaten, arrested, and shot at. The Iranian regime is stopping at nothing to quash protests triggered by the killing of #MahsaAmini. Please help by spreading the word. #IranProtests
If you're a professor or a student in STEM in a Western country, you probably know someone from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. They might have be your students, peers, or friends.
That university is now under attack by the Islamic Republic.

Thank you @tdutta ! To develop safer, more accessible sidewalks, we need data-informed guidelines. Our system can gather gait data with minimal interference in the environment. Find our paper here: https://t.co/nkB8Rq2Vjt
What if smaller sidewalk imperfections are bigger tripping hazards than larger imperfections? Ghazaleh Delfi's foot clearance estimation system is going to help us answer this question.
Great work @DelfiGhazaleh!
