By your logic, a female with breast cancer who has a mastectomy has changed sex. Or a female with a hormone imbalance has now changed sex and become male.

@maryfeldskov Thank you for saying this. Mine was misdiagnosed as well. I was told I was having a normal miscarriage while having the worst pain of my life only on my right side. Was told I needed to toughen up and was sent home only for my fallopian tube to rupture and then needed surgery.

@MacAllisterSzn2 Sure. Weight and height vary but not to the degree seen between the sexes on average. There’s a reason sports are divided that way. It’s the fastest most accurate way to fairness. It seems we can at least agree that the male sex has an advantage after puberty unless on blockers ?

@MacAllisterSzn2 They are the exception to the overall wider pattern which is the norm for mammals. Taking hormones after puberty has already occurred cannot entirely erase the advantages of male puberty such as a larger heart and lungs. The original claim of no inherent advantage is absurd.

@MacAllisterSzn2 These cases are known as the exception rather than rule. And even in the matriarchal society the male bonobo is still larger than the female. All of this is irrelevant in the end though because human females have evolved smaller than than their male counterparts hence sexed sport
