I tried thermal energy and matter storylines this year. It was great to see a complete cycle of learning using the NGSS and storylining. My students have come a long way and I have a long way to go!! #myopensciedstory

Very proud of the Schalmont School District's effort to recycle with the CLYNK systems. Each student has a bag, now hand them in before Mar 28th!! That's the sound of change! We are currently in 5th place in NY!!

@SchalmontCSD Every Schalmont Middle School and Jefferson Elementary student should have a CLYNK bag by the end of the day tomorrow! Fill it and dropped off at any Hannaford CLYNK station by March 28th to help your school $$$$! #clynkforschools
We are also thrilled to have @jengutierrez18, @dtcampbe, and @wandabryant join us as Board Members for this project!

@nearpod I use nearpod every other week or so for the asynchronous part of our hybrid schedule. I like to mix it up and use lots of different apps to get the point across and keep it interesting!!
Happy Sunday! Mrs. Deming’s Middle School science students testing whether more “expensive” cups actually do a better job of keeping liquids cold! The scientific method in practical action! So impressed!
@dailystem @MrPerezSDoL @ShaunSDoL @msshoolman_VDV @Oreo I'm doing something similar in my class to tie together the CER process and measurement. I need images of the thickness of the cream with a metric ruler in a double stuffed and regular Oreo. If anyone has that let me know.
We now have two units that have been adapted for #RemoteLearning:
Unit 6.2 Thermal Energy
Unit 6.3 Weather, Climate & Water Cycling
Thanks to @La_Believes, w/ support from @MASchoolsK12 & #openscied Ts for revising our units for remote learning!
