@coach_acker have you heard of Blooket? My 8th graders got sick of Kahoot and now are obsessed with Blooket. It is the same set up as Kahoot to create but has many different games to play. @PlayBlooket#reviewgames

#5. My students and I have really enjoyed using technology in the classroom. I frequently use Blooket reviews, Nearpods, & Edpuzzles. Students connect with technology and enjoy a different method other than textbooks and worksheets. #technologyeducation@nearpod@edpuzzle
@coach_acker I never thought to look into blog posts and articles to see what teachers best-liked and got their reviews before looking into using tech tools. Thanks for the link! I'll look into it before trying a new resource. @edutopia
@skinnerm8953 Evaluating a new media resource is hard when finding new things to keep students engaged. Students get burned out when using the same platforms repetitively. Your advice for looking into new resources is a great way to weed out things that won't work for students.
When evaluating a media or tech resource I consider the following criteria that @NEAToday provided. The following is an easy guide to help narrow down resources that will enhance your student's learning but also won't waste your time.

@skinnerm8953 your retweet from @NMSI is awesome. I have students ask me everyday when they are ever going to use a topic in math or science class and this blog shows where the world is heading and that it is going to be STEM based. #STEM#STEMeducation

@MsBenninger You can find the mission statement on the homepage of many schools website. It is where it is for my school. There is also county wide vision statements. That you may also want to look into.
@MrsRobertsB This is a very controversial topic. Do you think that if they remove the Praxis that they will replace it with a different content knowledge course? If so what? Also do you think that they may also get rid of EdTPA due to the teacher shortage?
@NicoleTShir Do you think that there will be a different type of test that will be required if the praxis is no longer a requirement. I have taken mine and passed but it was not easy. I think there will be some form of a knowledge assessment but maybe easier. What do you think of edTPA?
AMSTI is a great state wide incentive for science teacher as well as math and STEM. You are able to get trained during the summer to learn exactly how the students will preform labs and know common mistakes they make. Have you been to an AMSTI training @coach_acker ? @AMSTIUSA
