En tant qu'ancien militaire, permettez-moi de vous dire les choses clairement.

Mes amis, sous-officiers, officiers, généraux, non actifs, ne vous reconnaissent pas comme Ministre des Armées. Et ils ont raison.

Emmanuel Macron, celui qui n'a jamais connu le service militaire, vous a nommée bêtement, parce que vous êtes avant tout ce que vous avez toujours été : une bureaucrate. Une apparatchik du système, pas une femme de terrain, pas une femme d'armes.

Vous déclarez que la Russie constitue une menace "pour l'Ukraine d'abord, puis pour l'Europe". Non, Madame.

Non, la Russie ne constitue pas une menace pour l'Europe et encore moins pour la France. La seule menace qui pèse sur les Français aujourd'hui, c'est votre incompétence, votre soumission au mondialisme et votre politique de va-t-en-guerre planquée derrière un ordinateur.

Ce qui est formidable avec vous, c'est que pour une guerre imaginaire, par décrets, par emprunts, vous trouvez des milliards en 24 heures. Pour armer l'Ukraine, il y a toujours de l'argent.

Mais quand il s'agit du quotidien des Français ? Il n'y a plus rien.

Plus d'argent pour équiper nos hôpitaux qui manquent cruellement de climatiseurs en pleine canicule. Plus d'argent pour acheter des Canadair neufs alors que les nôtres ont 30 ans et que la France brûle chaque été. Plus d'argent pour nos soldats qui n'ont plus rien.

Vous êtes une va-t-en-guerre de salon. Vous jouez à la guerre avec la vie des autres et l'argent des Français.

Et pour finir, Chère Madame Vautrin, au lieu de jouer les stratèges sur les plateaux, demandez à votre ami François Hollande ce qui s'est réellement passé.

Demandez-lui ce qui s'est passé quand l'Ukraine a bombardé le Donbass pendant huit ans, de 2014 à 2022.

Huit ans de bombes sur des civils. 100.000 morts. Des milliers de femmes violées. Des enfants massacrés. Dans un silence médiatique total. Dans l'indifférence totale de l'Union Européenne.

Ça a pris fin en février 2022, quand la Russie a dit STOP. Et la Russie a déclaré la guerre à l'Ukraine, pas à l'Europe. Et sûrement pas à la France.

Car non, l'Ukraine ne fait pas partie de l'Europe. Et elle ne nous a jamais rien apporté, à part des milliards de dettes.

Alors arrêtez de vouloir nous entraîner dans une guerre qui n'est pas la nôtre, pour un pays qui n'est pas l'Europe.

Something is cooking. Something bad. For the past week or so I‘m reading all over western media this garbage that „Russia is losing“ and that Putin has his back against the wall. Some of these articles are even discussing the post-war order after Russia has lost… utter nonsense.

Anyone following the actual battlefield, even just in passing would know that Russia is advancing and that the Donbas is nearly consolidated. From there, even Odessa might be next. Anyone‘s guess. But what‘s sure is that there is no battlefield collapse to be expected and the Russian army is anything but eroded.

One thing that is also clear is that the Russian‘s are pissed but not at Putin. They are pissed at the West for all the strikes and the belligerency. I‘ve met several Russians who criticized the government for not being forceful enough against the irredeemable Europeans.

So what is this nonsense about „Putin drowning“ and Russia losing? Are they preparing some very large thing that is supposed to push them over the edge to counter strike at NATO and then they‘ll blame it on a losing leader who had his back against the wall?

I‘m seriously worried we might be seeing the narrative preparations for something bad. Something very bad.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE UKRAINE RUSSIA WAR

Why are no other countries troops ( officially) not fighting alongside Ukraine.
Lets start by examining facts.
Ukraine have lost 2.3m DEAD not injured, not AWOL, dead.
Ukraine in September 2023 had an army of one million men and 1.1 m men in reserve.
Almost as large a serving as the USA's 1.3m serving men.
So 2.1m men.
Ukraine have had three conscriptions or recruitment drives.
This totalled 1.4m men.
So that is 3.5m men have entered the Ukraine army since the summer of 2023.
Another 500,000 beaten/kidnapped off the streets in forced conscription.
That is 4m men and add another approx 200,000 in mercenaries.
So in all Ukraine's army has had 4.2m men in total for use in the field.
This is greater than NATO's entire force combined.
So the losses.
Ukraine admitted that Ukraine only had 900,000 men left asov (forgive the pun ) Jan 1st 2025 (pic 1 ).
So Ukraine admits 250,000 deserters.
Ukraine, Russia and aid agencies admit 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers captured.
We know from aid agencies and intel sources that approx 700,000 Ukrainians have been injured.
We also know many brave western mercenaries fled to Lvov or home and of the western mercenaries around 30% are dead and that 72% of mercenaries from other countries are also dead.
So the figures are this.

So the approx figure is 2.3m dead/missing presumed dead.

Now any soldier will tell you that a combat hardened soldier is worth two regular soldiers whom have never seen combat, as I can personally attest to, soldiers fresh into the field can react in many different ways.
Regardless of what others may say and this is also a fact, most battle hardened troops in Vietnam did not bother too much with raw recruits until they had been in Vietnam for at least one or two firefights as they saw them as unlikely to survive.
I know as I have spoken to a great deal of them.
Battle hardened troops are worth more than ordinary soldiers and worth four times as much as soldiers who have little experience in the field but are serving soldiers nonetheless.
Also relevant is forced conscription.
If battle hardened soldiers are at the top of the food chain, then those who have not seen combat, then those who are soldiers in non combat roles, then right at the bottom are conscripts and at the very bottom are forced conscripts.

Now Ukraine had a battle hardened army but as they died the numbers of the fallen went up alarmingly.
Fresh recruits or beaten conscripts are no substitute for battle hardened troops as clearly indicated below ( PIC 2 ).
The body exchange, numbers, refuted by no one, clearly shows this.
The lesser experienced troops die faster and in greater numbers.
Propagandists will tell you that Ukraine losses are greater as they leave the fallen when retreating but western media and our governments tell you Russia are not moving forward, both statements cannot be true.
Unless of course, you are using the tactics that western media attribute to Russia, in that Ukraine are using human meat wave tactics, the only possible scenario that would logically explain the increased losses.
But the facts are since the summer of 2023 Ukraine have not captured a single city ( population 20k or more) in three years, while Russia have captured many including Konstantinivka and Liman just this month, both cities bigger than Hull or Brussels or that Russia have captured 150,000 square kilometres, which is the size of England and Wales combined.
There is clearly no stalemate.
Russia are advancing and Ukrainian soldiers/forced conscripts are dying in much bigger numbers than Russia.
All this despite 57 countries supplying arms and intelligence to Ukraine including USA, UK, France and Germany.
Remember this when western media whine about Russia receiving assistance.
So why is NATO not putting troops in the field ?
Ukraine has had for it's usage a NATO trained since 2014 original army wiped out in four years of 2.3m dead and another 700,000 injured.
We know from our intel and Ukrainian sources that Ukraine loses on average 1.5 men per square kilometre on the front line every day.
The front line is 1,000km long.
That's 1,500 men on average per day.
The war at the time of writing has been going on for 1599 days.
1500 men x 1599 days = 2, 338,500m
On average give or take that works out about right.
The figures also show this on the returned bodies, between May 2023 to may 2024.

The use of drones has slowed the death rate of Ukrainians down in the last year but the numbers are still appalling !

That would indicate Russia losing around 273,000 men in the year 2024.
That would indicate Russia losing 12,400 in the year 2025.
That would indicate Russia losing 17,600 in the year 2026.
A total of 303,000 total

So that would put the losses around 8 to 1 on average.
That is just a guide.
Mediazona put Russia's losses as 230,000 reported dead bodies.
We have 218,000.
Add them all together and average it out comes to around 250,000.
The claim by western media is absurd beyond belief.

The average losses for Ukraine and our figures of 2,317,000 then come out at about around 2,350,000.

An average of 9.4 dead Ukrainians to every dead Russian.
Numbers do not lie, people do.
Ukraine's claims of 50,000 losses and that of western media are laughable propaganda, nothing more.

So onto the reason NATO will not put boots on the ground in Ukraine and please spare me better trained and better and more weapons.
1. If they had them they would be marching through Russia right now such is the burning collective hatred toward Russia.
2. The weapons NATO have are pretty much exhausted and are overpriced and overhyped.

3. As for better trained, that claim is also nonsense, they have been training Ukrainian soldiers on NATO bases since 2014.

Ukraine soldiers were also battle hardened, fought in a drone war, know the language and know the terrain.
NATO troops do not.

So finally we are here and why NATO troops will not commit to boots on the ground and why they are so desperate to re-introduce conscription.
Leave the reservists or public SAS (Saturday And Sundays) who go back to their day jobs after the weekend to one side and look at the regular serving army as taken from each actual ministry in those countries (PIC 3 ).
Around 1.6m men of the NATO forces excluding the USA.
THEY WOULD BY ANY CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE WOULD ALL BE DEAD !!
Then factor in that, and lets be generous here, 60% are a fighting force.
Lets say 10%, again being generous here, have seen actual combat.
160,000 men battle hardened and just under a million as an actual fighting force, again being extremely generous here.
Then add in the dead and wounded in Ukraine which totals 3m men.
Inside a year NATO is over, destroyed, finished.
Russia have 700,000 men on the front line, another 800,000 battle hardened making 1.5m men already having taken part in a war.
Another 2m men in training and rotating to the front line for experience.
Waiting, held back, as Russia believe NATO will join the war.
All our European leaders and unelected morons, all the shouting and vitriolic abuse online, Ukraine flags and Slava Ukraine in the bios, will not change one fact.

They are terrified, terrorism is the only weapon they have to fight Russia, because a proper war instead of covert dirty tricks would see those countries armies utterly decimated.
The war is over before it begins.

Honestly, this just shows what a complete idiot Vance is.

The notion that it was a mistake to engage China is wrong on every level - morally, factually, economically, diplomatically and politically - and represents the absolute worst kind of American exceptionalism thinking.

Morally, it's, of course, an utterly disgusting thing to say: it's basically "we should have kept a fifth of humanity poor because their misery was good for us."

It's sociopathic and depraved: the guy loves to virtue signal around his supposed "Christian values" but he obviously didn't even get to the "love thy neighbor" part of the bible...

Factually, he acts as if the Chinese had zero agency, as if they'd have just said: "Oh, the US wants us to stay poor? Well, okay then, guess we'll just stay poor 🤷" As if a civilization that's been around for 5,000 years was just sitting around waiting for Washington's permission to develop.

Also, he acts as if their development was in fact a consequence of US engagement. If that were the case, why didn't India develop at the same pace, why didn't Indonesia develop, why didn't every single poor country the US engaged with develop?

The dirty truth is that most US leaders - for a long time - have thought along similar lines as Vance: the objective obviously never was for China to rise to a level where they'd become a US peer competitor. But, just like the Trump administration (during either terms) didn't succeed in shaping China to US interests - despite all their efforts - neither could any previous administration.

The idea that there was some magic policy that would have let America enjoy cheap Chinese labor forever while keeping China permanently subordinate is pure fantasy.

Economically, contrary to popular belief, China's rise actually didn't come at America's expense. For proof just check the evolution of the share of global GDP:
- For China: in 1980, their share of global GDP was 2%, it rose to 17% by 2024
- For the US: in 1980 their share of global GDP was 25.5% and IT ROSE (!) to 26.3% by 2024

In other words, economically speaking, the US lost nothing: not on an absolute basis and not even on a relative basis. On both levels, it actually gained and conserves an absolutely disproportionate - and frankly unfair - share of global economic output: more than a quarter for just 4% of the global population. Complaining about this, as if America were the victim here, is frankly obscene.

Diplomatically, why say this? How does this serve the US in any way whatsoever? Obviously, saying this will antagonize China big time - as it should. But it will also send a message to just about every country out there that wants to develop (that is, basically ALL countries): as far as America is concerned, things are zero-sum, your prosperity is their loss.

This objectively makes US foreign policy harder, as it does the job of every American company trying to sell stuff abroad - hard to sell something to a country when your Vice President just said that it makes him "angry" and it's a failure of policy if his customers do well.

Lastly, it's also idiotic politically. Sure, I get that America always needs enemies and that scapegoating foreigners is the oldest trick in the book. But there comes a time when it stops being useful and starts being actively harmful - and we're well past that point in the US.

Because, what is scapegoating's main function? To redirect the blame onto others for things that you yourself can get fixed. And while the US did manage to - overall - maintain its share of the global economic pie, it failed to distribute it fairly at home: the gains were mostly hoarded by a small elite while ordinary Americans saw little benefit, or even lost out with insane healthcare costs or crumbling infrastructure.

You can blame China all you want for this but eventually it comes to bite you in the ass: your people's lives don't get better for it and they'll eventually realize they should stop looking at where the finger is pointing, and start looking at who's doing the pointing.

So, yeah, no matter how you look at it, it's completely unredeemable: morally repulsive, factually illiterate, economically wrong, diplomatically self-defeating, and politically stupid. Almost impressive, in a way.

Das medienredundante, kriegsbegleitend ins Universum geschüttete Werte- und Moralblabla dient dem einzigen Zweck, eine (von Ihnen im besten Fall auch noch internalisierte & repetierte) Legitimationsgrundlage dafür zu schaffen, dass man Ihr Geld auf Dauer eben NICHT in Ihre Bahn, Ihre Schulen, Ihre Wirts- und Krankenhäuser, Ihre Renten, Ihre Infrastrukturen, Ihre Inflations- & Armutsbekämpfung - kurz: in SIE und IHRE ZUKUNFT steckt, da es, so die Erzählung, angeblich wichtiger und erhabener sei, Ihr Geld stattdessen in Waffen zu stecken, um sie von einem kleinen Irren mit Hang zu Wolfsangeln zur Reichtumsvermehrung einiger US-Rüstungsdickies dann im Namen „unserer Werte“ verballern zu lassen.

Es ist demütigender als ein 4-0 gegen die USA, dass Rutte statt Pikantje von Antje oder Holzclogs offenbar extra ein paar Gewinn-Schautafeln für Bekloppte mitgebracht hat, um Trump, von dem man annehmen darf, dass er doch wenigstens DAS ja wohl wissen dürfte, noch einmal mit Idiotenbalken vorzurechnen ("Trump Trillion"), wie doll er & seine Kriegseliten gerade an allen anderen verdienen. Vor allem an den Europäern, denen ja - seit vonderLeyen im Amt ist - offiziell das Gehirn weggeschmolzen ist. Britzel!

Vor allem aber ist dies die Darlegung des eigentlichen NATO-Geschäftsmodells, bei dem es im Kern eben darum geht, Kriege nicht nur (regelmäßig) ins Rollen zu bringen, sondern sie nachfolgend auch mit gewinnstabilisierender Konstanz am Laufen zu halten, um so viel Volksvermögen wie nur irgend möglich aus den involvierten (Vasallen-) Staaten zu extrahieren.

Nachdem der 20-jährige Betrieb der Geldwaschanlage in Afghanistan, wo angeblich ja nicht weniger als „unsere Freiheit“ verteidigt worden sein soll, im September 2021 von Biden Hals über Kopf eingestellt wurde, war jedem klar, dass nun rasch ein neuer, unverbrauchter Kriegsschauplatz benötigt und entstehen würde, um mit einem frischen Feindes- & Gefahrennarrativ die große Wäsche zur (weiteren) Verarmung der Armen und (weiteren) Bereicherung der Reichen ungehindert fortführen zu können.

Es dauerte keine fünf Monate (Feb. 22), bis der Krieg in der Ukraine begann, der von den unmittelbar involvierten Parteien wohl schon Wochen später beendet worden wäre (Apr. 22), wenn Elitesprössling Boris Johnson, der ja niemals mehr als die Interessen derer vertrat, die er nun einmal vertritt, nicht verhindert hätte, dass man die als ENDLOS angelegte Profitgeschäfte der Kriegsgewinnler vorzeitig & regelwidrig durch 1 Friedens-Foul zum Versiegen bringt.

Vier Jahre und 380 Milliarden Dollar später haben wohl die meisten - vielleicht auch noch die letzten - hoffentlich! endlich! begriffen, was eine derangierte, korrupte, sich unseligerweise auch noch als „politisch“ ausgebende Klasse aus ihrem Gemeinwesen und der Welt gemacht hat - und worum es hier in Wahrheit geht.

Mark „Psycho“ Rutte führt es Ihnen begeistert & persönlich vor. Bei der NATO geht es nicht um Gefahren oder Sicherheit, Zerstörung oder Menschenleben, Verteidigung oder Werte. Es geht um Geld. Und zwar um Ihres.

P.S.: Wir möchten an dieser Stelle noch einmal darauf hinweisen, dass Mark P. Rutte unserer Kenntnis nach noch immer mit seiner Mutter zusammenwohnt. Und bitte sparen Sie sich weitere Hinweise, dass die alte Dame bereits vor ein paar Jahren verstorben sei. Das war die Mutter von Norman Bates in Hitchcock’s Filmklassiker „Psycho“ ja auch.

This is genuinely shocking, and says so much about our approach to China.

I decided to check for independent reviews of the English version Xi Jinping's latest book, published a year ago, to see what people had to say about it since I hadn't read it myself.

To my surprise, I couldn't find any: not a single thoughtful review about the book out there! Even on Amazon, check it for yourself (https://t.co/1LVlhACA53): the book has only 3 ratings, that's it.

No matter where you stand on China, you’ve got to admit that’s pretty crazy: the sitting president of the world's rising superpower publishes a 700-page book explaining exactly what he's doing and why, and we don’t even care to look.

If there ever was a fact that illustrates just how willfully ignorant we are about China, this is it.

All the more because we then go spew the usual clichés around how secretive and impenetrable the Chinese system is: the book is on Amazon for $21 for crying out loud!

Anyhow, this felt so wrong that I figured I'd fix it. I bought the book, read it attentively and wrote what I hope you'll agree is a thoughtful review of it.

The book contains genuinely surprising passages, such as Xi writing that oversight of the Communist Party by "the judiciary, the public, and the media" was not just something the Party must “readily accept,” but something that he framed as historically decisive - an essential component to "escaping the historical cycle of rise and fall" that has doomed every dynasty in China's history.

Other passage that I'm sure would surprise many: a common narrative out there is that China blames the West for the century of humiliation and is driven by revenge. Well, Xi explains that's not true at all: the century of humiliation was China's own mistake, originated in the Ming Dynasty's disastrous "policy of national seclusion" that "resulted in China missing out on the opportunities presented by the Industrial Revolution" and "led to China’s decline."

All in all, the book is remarkably self-reflective and thoughtful. For instance Xi recognizes that his drive for “full and rigorous internal governance” - including to rid the Party of corruption - risked "instill[ing] fear and apprehension, or intimidate members into inaction.” He emphasizes the need for pragmatism in this regard, codified in a framework called the “Three Distinctions” that separates honest mistakes - made while experimenting, reforming, or operating without precedent - from deliberate violations committed for personal gain.

And many other surprises still. I found it a genuinely fascinating read for anyone interested in how the Chinese system works and how Xi thinks - or anyone interested in governance, period, as so much of what he writes is pretty universally applicable.
