Blame Parker, blame the subs, blame the style of football, blame the ref for that shameful penalty call. But that one today’s on Foster. Absolutely abysmal
@InfamousGasman Because they are, in fact, a doctor.
Teach MDs to introduce themselves as MD instead of trying to tell Nursing PhDs not to use their titles.
@JJWatt That’s not the case as a big percentage of the home fans don’t live in Burnley, they live outside the town in places like Accy, Clitheroe and Nelson etc. It’s probably something similar to Preston North End at about 10% of the town attend (which is still good).
@JJWatt its definitely a football hotbed but the 1 in 4 thing is not strictly true. There are a number of surrounding towns with no club, so it has a big hinterland. Rossendale, Skipton, Nelson, Colne, Accrington didnt have a team for 40 years.
You wouldn’t think Burnley endured 9 years of Dyche’s football, and one of the most successful periods in the clubs history, with the way a section of the fans are behaving right now.
I find it absolutely perplexing, didn’t think we were football snobs.

The NHS could be sorted within 6 months.
You start by sacking all the diversity officers with immediate effect.
You go through every single job. Get rid of every non medical/political role going.
Next you centralise the buying power of the NHS to reduce costs.
Identify the land value of hospitals and build a strategic plan to build new hospitals on cheaper, more easily accessible land using the cash saved from selling off the inner city ones.
Build 4 or 5 specialist centres around the UK that concentrate on specific elective surgery only Eg Hip replacements, cataract surgery etc. Get them going on a production line basis to smash the waiting lists.
I'd read a study into the economics of Center Parcs. It's significantly cheaper to go to nicer, hotter, resorts in Europe (including flights) and yet they are always full and I don't understand it.
Remember promotion season Sunderland away when everyone thought Barnes was done. Currently my thought about Jay. Same redemption possible? #twitterclarets
