I want to recognize the initiative & competence of @OregonAudits Manager Jamie Ralls, whose team helped the @FBI identify potential fraud in OR’s food stamp program. These efforts have already led to the conviction of numerous individuals & over $525,000 returned to the state.

Last week, I introduced a panel of legislators @ the Coastal Caucus Econ. Summit, spoke about how difficult it is to address tough policy issues in our partisan climate, & suggested the #orleg should amend procedural rules promoting that division. Thx to Sen.Roblan for having me.

Know my words aren’t written to criticize any individual. Being a legislator was one of the best jobs I’ve had & I believe my colleagues tried their best to serve the public. We simply can do better. I look forward to continue advocating for policies that will enable us to do so.

As Chair of the Washington Cty. Planning Comm’n, I’ve advocated for projects like this that will reduce congestion on arterials like Tualatin-Sherwood Rd & strengthen our economy. Thanks to Commissioners Roy Rogers, Andy Duyck & @TVWDNews Chair Bruce Bagnall for their leadership.
