🚨We are deeply alarmed by the reports that there is an imminent threat to Dr. #HussamAbuSafiya’s life as a result of torture and other ill treatment he has been suffering while in Israeli custody. Israeli authorities must immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Abu Safiya. Pending his release, we call on the Israeli Prison service to ensure he is fully protected from abuse, granted urgent adequate medical care and allowed immediate visitation by independent monitors.

🚨We are deeply concerned for the safety of activists #SaifAbuKeshek and #ThiagoAvila who are being taken to #Israel for questioning after being arbitrarily detained by the Israeli military after the unlawful interception of the #GlobalSumudFlotilla vessels in international waters.

🚨The two activists were participating in a peaceful solidarity mission aiming to break Israel's unlawful blockade of the #Gaza Strip and deliver aid to Palestinians struggling to survive under Israel’s genocide and unlawful occupation.

🚨They are at great risk of human rights abuses, including torture and other ill-treatment given @amnesty's previous documentation of the abuse inflicted on flotilla activists detained in October 2025 at the hands of the Israeli authorities

🚨It is especially concerning that Saif Abu Keshek, a Palestinian-Spanish-Swedish national, is being detained on suspicion of affiliation with a terrorist organization given Israel's discriminatory laws and persistent record of harassment and oppression of Palestinians under Israel’s system of apartheid. Israel must immediately release them and ensure they are protected while in custody.

🚨Israel’s defiance of international law must end. The ICJ has been clear: Israel’s #occupation is #unlawful and must be brought to an end. States must act now to restore some faith in international law by holding Israel accountable for its violations and crimes.

Three first responders from Lebanon’s Civil Defence were killed in an Israeli double-tap attack last night after racing to a bombed building in Tyre District. Two Leb army soldiers were wounded and the two civilian bulldozers sent to help at same time were also hit. Targeted during a so-called ‘ceasefire’. Hussein Ghadbouni, Hussein Al-Sati and Hadi Daher are among more than 300 healthworkers killed in Israeli attacks since Oct, 2023 while involv in relief operations

He died of his injuries today.

He wasn’t a fighter — he was a UN PEACEKEEPER from Indonesia.

Israel killed him anyway.

Civil Defence crews were finally able to access the site where Leb journalist Amal Khalil was trapped under rubble but only hours later. They retrieved her body. Her newspaper Al Akbar has put out a video tribute. Lebanon’s Minister of Information condemned the incident describing the targeting of journalists as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and calling for international action.
