@DougCollinsUX Don't think, just start if you really passionate about the field. There will be push backs initially, not just from other people, from your innerself as well. Listen to everyone but don't give anyone control over to your instincts and feelings. And finally, Breath and Practice!!!

πͺπͺMore than anything, we as an organization must make cross cultural design part of the business strategy and advocate its value across organization.
πΉ People (Desirable)- It is all about deeply understand human needs. It goes way beyond observing people and tells us to understand peopleβs motivation and core beliefs.
πΉ Business (Viable) - A business model can only sustain for long if it can pay for itself and a product is as good as its market needs and peopleβs financial capability to buy it. So, focus on the business model which is viable, pay for and sustain itself in the long run.

Compassion is the cognitive understanding of people or conditions with an emotionally distanced view (this is not bad.)
One is more sustainable than the other.
