Life-long Arsenal fan here—I’m appalled by the so-called fans behaviour, and would encourage @Arsenal to ban anyone guilty of personal attacks.

@NoniMadueke_ is a great addition to our squad, with even more potential under Arteta’s coaching (like Havertz).

@EduardoHagn Even if you don’t believe in that basic principle of justice, suspending a player prior to criminal conviction or actual at-work misconduct could result in a constructive dismissal lawsuit.

On balance, IMO, the club made the right decision based on the information presented.

The club had a player protesting his innocence, and no information from the Police.

City played Mendy through his accusations, & only suspended him when charged—Partey wasn’t even our player when charged.
