Detectif.ai

We build foundation models for audio deepfake detection and speaker verification.

[Detectif.ai @DetectIfAI]

the API is open.

real-time voice deepfake detection, speaker verification, and who-or-what-answered-the-call, all on one key. 24 ms per check.

docs and free API key in the thread below.

[Tarini Sai Padmanabhuni @tarini_axory]

today we're opening @DetectIfAI to every developer.

real-time voice deepfake detection, 24 ms per check.

#1 in latency on Podonos' independent benchmark, ahead of companies that raised hundreds of millions.

97.3% of cloned voices caught.

API + MCP. link in the comments.

Our story @DetectIfAI just got featured on @TechCrunch!

still processing this one. a deepfake call to my grandfather started it all - what we ship next speaks for itself.

[Tarini Sai Padmanabhuni @tarini_axory]

Everyone's going mad about JEV, so we asked an agent one question:
Which of these 50 companies should I get in front of first?

It scanned every signal, ranked them by tier, and showed its reasoning.

A full run cost us <$0.001 for 50 companies. This is crazy!

The GFF floor is going to be full of voice agents.

But ours also checks if the caller is real or cloned! Voice agents that talk to your customers and verify them in the same breath.

Built for multilingual support, at the lowest running costs.

Come meet our team at #GFF2026

@DetectifAI is in @TechCrunch 's Startup Battlefield finals!

Thousands applied. Few selected. We're one of them.

We build audio deepfake detection.

Started it after my grandfather was targeted by a voice cloning scam.

Ranked #1 on published benchmarks, live in production, and now headed to Disrupt SF in October.

Let's go.

A phone call used to mean trust.
Now it could be AI.

@DetectifAI is building the next layer of cybersecurity for the AI era

Not another chatbot
Not another AI wrapper
Foundational models built to detect audio deepfakes

It started with something personal.
Tarini's grandfather lost thousands of dollars to a simple deepfake.
That moment became the reason to build.

@tarini_axory had already been in machine learning since grade six
Nearly a decade studying how AI works
She saw where the technology was headed - and what was missing

Fraud has existed for a very long time
Cybersecurity has existed for a very long time

Deepfake detection is that same discipline extended into the AI world.

Today, DetectifAI serves clients across banking, finance, security, telecoms, and OEMs

An API that integrates into existing enterprise infrastructure

And on mobile, it goes even deeper - into the OEM layer itself.

Which makes the vision tangible.
You answer a call.
Your phone gives you a rolling update on whether that voice is likely AI or a real human

Detection during the call.
Not after the money is gone.

The scale comes from where it's deployed.
A single OEM integration can unlock protection for millions of people.

And deepfake detection is only the first step.
The larger vision is an anti-fraud landscape that helps people navigate scam calls, robocalls, and anything that falls under the purview of fraud.

The next generation of AI companies won't just build intelligence
They'll build trust
