@issy_2509@PlaytonicGames If you haven't yet I'd say no. They added more story, more content, and made everything better ;) That's as definitive a version as can be!
@PlaytonicGames Here's my submission for #CapitalBCasinoComp ! Went for a pop-art aesthetic and a design inspired by the great Disney artists of old ! Used the CC0 font "Graffiti Treat" by Typodermic Fonts, everything else is custom made.
@Markus_Kurko Did they try the base game ? If it doesn't have the same issue that's kinda weird. Maybe setting the ram to 8MB (or extended, or whatever it's called in Mupen) if the base game doesn't have the issue. If the base game has the issue I'd look towards people who have tried that.
@PirateSoftware It would seem I'm shadowbanned from your YT channel. I never posted anything inflammatory, hateful or anything of the sort. The most I can think of that may have caused it is voicing my disagreement on the Epic exclusivity matter with facts and counter arguments.
@Scholastic You were smart enough to use
@minalima
as a selling point and dumb enough to cut them out of the rest of the books. You're gonna lose easily half your potential buyer base on the sequels, which will potentially kill off the rest of the books after book 4 or 5... Great job -_-
Way to do some stupid shit @Scholastic. You advertised those last Christmas and used @minalima as a selling point. It's literally written on the front cover. How will you justify it being a complete edition if you can't even still stamp the "Illustrated by Minalima" on the front?
Commission Studio MinaLima to Continue Illustrating All Harry Potter Books - Sign the pétition ! https://t.co/SqhsS5lonP
Seriously every #HarryPotter and #MinaLima fan needs to sign this. Cutting minalima out of the rest of the "minalima" editions is plain stupid.
@wol_lay Getting better, but I still feel like UE5 robs the game of its visual identity. And as a dev I know you can achieve any look you want in almost any engine but I do hope you manage to nail bringing back the Cube World visual direction into Omega ;)
@CaptnCario@MortMort_ @incrediblemaker Answering a bit late but in that particular image he's using the inverse hull technique ! You can look it up fairly easily with the name ;)
@wol_lay I much prefer the soft shadows and softer contrast of your own engine. Sure you can get that in UE, but you'll lose most of the advantages of working in UE and you'll need to rewriter shaders and all that. As a fellow gamedev, I'd recommend against it at this point in the project
@wol_lay I'm not sure what it would add to the workflow now. What's been coded in C++, for example the grammar system for procedural quest, won't carry over 1:1 and will need some porting. The graphical style will also need porting over (HATE that lighting and those crisp shadows).
@hashashaaaa Some of the color choices are less interesting on the new ones, but the lighting is definitely more punchy. As far as style goes, as many I'm more partial to the cartoony style, but that's due to my relation with pixel art and old and indie arcade games ! Realistic looks nice too
@Dshoopy0@thedarkhog@wol_lay That's simply not true. A lot of UE optimizations are only worthwhile for games that take almost full advantage of a modern graphical pipeline. Plus UE definitely has become a bit of a powerhouse when it comes to workflow IMO.
@MortMort_ I mean, society ridiculing itself isn't anything new, especially on the internet. These people likely can't understand what having a real passion for making and creating (art or other) is like and it shows in their view of the world and of art and entertainment usually.
