The tragic fire in #Goa claiming 26 innocent lives wasn’t just an accident — it was **murder by negligence**. Blocked fire exits, ignored safety orders, and an indifferent administration led to this catastrophe.

Here in **Mahagun Moderne, Noida**, we face the *same ticking time bomb*. Fire exits in Avalon & Betina towers are blocked. @noida_authority had **ordered sealing of shops**, but the order remains unimplemented — allegedly under pressure. Infact exits have been sealed to accommodate illegal shops.

Do we have to wait for another Goa to act?
Lives are at risk, yet accountability is missing.

Mahagun Moderne AoA and IndiGo are classic examples of entities that thought they were bigger than the rules – the difference is that DGCA has now moved hard on IndiGo, while Noida Authority still looks away from an equally blatant breakdown of law and accountability at the local level.

In Noida’s Mahagun Moderne, an illegally functioning AoA runs the society with no valid elections for years, zero transparency over crores of maintenance funds, encroachment/misuse of common areas and routine harassment of dissenting residents – all in open defiance of basic housing and local governance norms. DGCA is to IndiGo what Noida Authority should have been to Mahagun Moderne’s rogue AoA – a regulator enforcing law, not a silent spectator. Instead, Noida Authority’s inaction despite repeated complaints and media coverage signals that high‑rise residents can be abandoned to illegal private fiefdoms while the file keeps moving slowly, if at all.
