I use “Ms.” because I refuse to be identified by marital status.

It is indeed crazy that males get to have “Master” for boys and “Mr.” when they become 18 year olds regardless of marital status, but females are still addressed as “Miss” even as adults as long as they are not married.

I mean, if you like the identity shift to “Mrs.” that’s good for you. As for me, I’ll be Ms. Nwangwa till I am Dr. Nwangwa in a few years.

Be careful with people who have lost parents, siblings or children.

Let me explain.
