Raye is trending because tweeps are applauding Ushie Rita Uguamaye for forcing the government to pay NYSC members the 77k allawee, after nearly a year.

Last week, Raye went viral for calling Tinubu a terrible president, because the economy is bad and the corpers spent more than 33k on only transportation.

As the video went, firstly, her LGI at Eti Osa first stalked her, phoned her, insulted and threatened her to take the videos down. — she made another one instead.

Political players sent her death threats. But till today, the videos remain on her page.

Her LGI summoned her to face a panel. Unfortunately for them, Sowore and three lawyers accompanied Raye to the panel. When they got there, the LGI dissapeared.

Sowore later said, the LGI must apologize to her, and since they ran away, they will be taking the case up to their HQ.

Accordingly, one of Pres. Tinubu’s aides, Temitope Ajayi suggested the Corper should be klled for criticizing Pres. Tinubu.

One week after all the Raye’s buzz, FG starts paying the 77k that has been promised since June 2024. Excited Nigerians are saying, if not for Raye’s outburst, the FG won’t have paid it.

Sadly and Respectfully, while her voice was successfully heard. It had no effect on NYSC allawee. The reason it tarried, was because of the 2025 budget.

Without Raye, NYSC were going to pay 77k this March or April.
