@KirstieMAllsopp As a parent I find @andyburnham "bank of mum&dad" insulting. Both my sons saved damn hard into a lifetime isa to buy their first homes, now one wants to move and is stuck in a flat that won't sell. Where is the incentive now?
🚨The whole of Britain has turned on Donald Trump today.
You do not insult the Falkland islanders right to be apart of Britain.
You certainly do not call for a reunified Ireland.
You do not insult our troops.
Before people say "But you are centre right"
I am, however I also don't allow others to look down on our country.
We are not a toy, we are the United Kingdom.
@andyburnham What would be useful is free legal aid to sue these builders, many do a crap job & walk away knowing you can't afford to take them to court
@paulcdobbs@KirstieMAllsopp@simonmontefiore My freinds all moan about the uni loans, I remind them that electricians have to keep their qualifications current and replace tools at their own cost for their whole working life. Sad thing is small companies can't afford to employ apprentices right now.
Here it is. My manifesto for the 2026 Clacton By-Election. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Join me, clean up Clacton and let's make 13th August Bin Day! #VoteBinface#VoteyMcVoteface#YesWeTinCan
@Feargal_Sharkey As a paddleboarder on the River Hamble, I have seen turds float past me. In fact as a child in the 70's I became ill swimming at the top end of the river. I think this has been happening 40yrs
I’m puzzled. Labourites tell us that Angela Rayner was only trying to look after her child which they quite rightly say is understandable.
But when a farmer tries to look after his children, they say he’s a tax dodger.
@BBCDorset can you investigate the proposed strike at Bournemouth airport? It’s now a few days and we don’t know what’s happening. Some people have gone ahead and paid for alternative flights from other airports
