Llevamos 28 horas tratando de rescatar de los escombros a Hernán Alberto Gil Flores, de 44 años, quien permanece atrapado en el centro comercial Galerías Playa Grande.

Equipos de varios países nos están ayudando a lograrlo, ya que la complejidad de la estructura, su inestabilidad, las lluvias de ayer y las réplicas han hecho de este uno de los rescates más difíciles que hemos enfrentado.

Sin embargo, a pesar de todas estas dificultades, Hernán continúa respondiendo y hemos logrado mantenerlo hidratado, por lo que tenemos la esperanza de que este rescate será un éxito.

On June 16, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. One male narco-terrorists was killed during this action, and there were two male survivors. Following the engagement, USSOUTHCOM immediately notified U.S. Coast Guard to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivors.
