🚨| Son Heung-Min post online on the 5th of August 2010:
"Guys, I scored against Chelsea! What should I do...I think I was so lucky. What's important is that I got Drogba's kit. I'm so happy! I should do even better from now on."
Today, 13 years later, he surpassed Drogba's #PL goal record! 🤯🤍🇰🇷
🎶 "We've Got Our Tottenham Back" sang a delirious away support…More than just the win, the clean sheet, the 7 points...It is the quality of the football. The entertainment value which spurs have always had baked into their DNA, which was stomped on by Mourinho and Conte…And with Sonny still to shine and Richarlison still quaking in his attempt to fill Kane's Big Skechers...More much more still to come.
It’s rather amusing to me how Guardiola has said Harry Kane is “One of the best strikers I’ve seen in my life”, Jose Mourinho thought he could get to the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, Thomas Tuchel was willing to break Bayern Munich’s transfer record for him, and Carlo Ancelotti had him has first choice to replace Karim Benzema.
But people will still call him a bad player because he does not have “trophies”.
I prefer to watch the game with my eyes. As do those elite managers.
We will not be the same anymore without him.
It's so weird to think about Tottenham without Kane, it's almost unimaginable.
A man that represented our club better than anyone else, am example for the young one, an idol for everyone.
We will not see another Kane in our life, this is one in a lifetime experience, and it's ending in front of our eyes.
Despite the lack of trophies I feel absolutely blessed to have been able to watch a player like him play week and week out for my team.
What a run it was Harry, I'm sorry that we couldn't give you what you deserved.
But one last time, Thank you.
You'll always be One Of Our Own.
