Quick PSA on joining .@ArmaPlatform units/groups to play with. Any group that has ranks you must put in your name, enforces time each week to play ARMA, expects attendance at their ops, and expects you to call their 'officers' Sir aren't worth your time or attention. Keep looking

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 now has a roleplay server and it has some of the most immaculate vibes I've come across in my time RPing. A superb time where I've had the freedom to fully explore my character and the nature of service & mercenary work in the HRE. HIGHLY recommended!

Useful.

BREAKING 🚨🚨🚨

Pensioners concerned with Labour’s threat to remove the state pension triple lock are urged to take the advice they give to young people.

Stop being such snowflakes, save your pennies and go on less holidays.

t might seem silly and it scared the shit out of me, I must admit, but there's method here. Trust the emergency planners. They literally get paid to wargame this stuff and mitigate risk so you can get on with your life.

[Digby -ZF- @DigbyTW]

In all seriousness, You might be tempted to turn your alerts off after the #severealert wildfire alert. Don't. This is exactly what this system is designed for, to notify you if the the country experiences an event that could pose a severe risk to life. v Thread v

[Digby -ZF- @DigbyTW]

If you can reduce the risk to less-than-routine levels, in the event of an up-tick of wildfires they then have the personnel and appliances to fight the risks better.

Fine UK Gov, I shall refrain from being a Firestarter, twisted Firestarter for a bit. I am not however going to stop being a punking instigator or danger illustrated though. Thats part of my charm.

Well done Spain. Well deserved.

My current PC is in the process of failing so I'm scoping options for replacement. Can someone recommend a place where I can get a new machine? Ideally looking for a 50 series card, 32gb Ram, decent mobo. Ideally less than £2k or financiable. Better yet, I'll take a sponsored PC!

@SchmukQatarlson @ReassessHistory Volunteers from those already in the Armed Forces, not voluntary joiners to the Armed Forces. I know of several US parachute veterans who were drafted in and then volunteered for parachute training as they got paid more. Your maths is wrong.

So this tweet absolutely broke out of the usual 2 people who see my shit, but I'm deadly serious @CAGames. Sling me an email if you're interested!

You know, if the developers of this game want someone to voice a Commissar who has done so repeatedly in the past, my rates are very reasonable.

How does ‘boycotting the RNLI’ work exactly? If you’re in a boat at sea in need of rescue and they turn up to help, do you just shout ‘nah mate we’re fine’ and then sink?

[Digby -ZF- @DigbyTW]

@samreich Go watch Operation Mincemeat. It's very good!
