@EricLDaugh Any criticism in this economy is now met with, "You are stupid" and "Do you want them to have a nuclear weapon?" Inflation doesn't matter now, the prices all went up earlier, and now they are too high for everyone.
@Jayzsa@DeanTTraining A muscle will contract with more force when preceded by contractions of the opposing muscle group. That's why supersets are a valuable addition to different training cycles.
@Jayzsa@DeanTTraining That's true, people don't train hard and intense. But you also have to train smart for what the desired goals are. Strength coaches for pro football teams don't put their athletes on bodybuilding routines. It wouldn't work for what they need.
@Jayzsa@DeanTTraining What's the point? Do you think everyone is just a bodybuilder. Athletes need to train more like this than like a bodybuilder. You ever train for football or wrestling? Progressive resistance with volume is a staple of training.
@zachary135791 I don't think Greg ever played a sport. For sports like football and wrestling, having strength, power, and stability in 3 dimensional space is important.

@DeanTTraining a few decades ago I would do 5 sets of 5. 5x5 was a popular "bulking" technique. Now at 55 I've found just 2-3 sets of 5 is even better.
@Tanizaki@DeanTTraining It's supersets. Chest 3 reps - rest 1 minute, then back exercise and rest 1 minute, then legs and rest 1 minute. by the time you get back to the beginning of the superset the muscle has rested 3-4 minutes
