Raspberry Pi has two new chips out – RP2350A and RP2350B. Some quick stats:
- 2 x ARM M33 cores at 133MHz
- 2 x RISCV Hazard 3 cores (up to 2 cores at once, mix and match)
- 512K RAM (vs 264K on RP2040)
- 3 PIO modules (vs 2 on RP2040)
- Hardware floating point unit
We are running an electronic design contest on our community forums! The theme is food devices. We have over $5000 in cash and free prototyping services through @MacroFab up for grabs! Sponsored by @MouserElec!

Until I read this Hal Borland passage a few days ago I never realized/noticed that blossoming plants melt the snow, and it’s because that act generates a bunch of heat
FUNGUS IN SPACE!!! 🍄🚀
Equal parts cosmic horror and nature being metal, let's talk about the lichen that grew on the OUTSIDE of the International Space Station!

@dangerousproto Thanks, I found that and ordered. Excited to upgrade from the BP3.6. And I think I had an even older one that I handmade from the free PCB program.
@dangerousproto It looks like the color coded aux cable can’t be backordered. Says currently unavailable. Do you plan to enable backorder on this item too?
My biggest #PCB design gripe is LiPo charging 😡🔋- especially when prototyping w/ #microcontrollers.
There just aren't any drop-in solutions that charge & power on the same pin, let alone a castellated one!
So I designed ⚡️MiniMeter⚡️- a tiny charger & I2C battery meter! ⬇️
