Creative Strategist / Copywriter: 3 years experience
1. Breaking down why DTC ads work
2. What most strategists get wrong
Teaching Copy SECRETS on Instagram
Creative Strategists have to realize that simply applying to jobs because it's in demand is not all it takes
It's better to be ignored than to have an upset client and ruin your reputation 🤷♂️
I made the mistake of waiting until I was ready, when I could've just worked for free, got results, and applied…
You're getting experience, and you're getting work at the same time, and faster,
Which works best for any industry 🤷♂️
I dont really get why,
Most creative strategists start ideation for a new client by diving into Reddit and forums first.
Your liteally taking opinions from people who probably don't even buy
Internal research should come first.
Because at the end of the day, you are literally selling to YOUR audience 🤷♂️
Like Most People
I used to think ads had to always look like boring product-aware ads.
And those polished, sell-y ones were the ones I would just scroll right past.
Because at the same time, only posts that felt authentic and mysterious were the ones that interested me
So I built this: an AI-generated screenshot of someone's Notes app, without naming the brand or product.
So now the sales guard of your audience is down, and they're more likely to visit the landing page.
If your top of funnel still leads with the product, cut it and watch your click-through change.
