My friend works there, and honestly, it’s one of the worst employers I’ve ever heard of . Employees have not been paid their salaries for February and March , this is completely unacceptable and deeply unfair. People have families and responsibilities. This is just exploitation!

If I could give a younger version of me just one piece of advice, it'd be this: do not settle. Do not settle for less. Don’t settle for less anywhere, but in particular, don’t do it with relationships.

Don’t settle for “I’m not sure if (s)he loves me”. Don’t settle for “I love him/her enough for both of us.” Don’t settle for “I want one thing with all my heart and (s)he feels iffy about it.” Don’t do it.

If you settle for less, you will sink valuable time into a relationship that you will lose anyway because as much as you put into it a relationship that involves two people, you can only put in 50%.

Don’t rationalize the non-relationship or explain it away. Don’t say “but I love him/her” or “I know (s)he will change”. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner but too often later) the relationship will not work out and you will say “I knew all along. Why did I do this if I knew all along?”

More than anything, relationships determine the quality of your life. Make them good. Make them count. Decide right now that you deserve what every human on earth deserves: someone who loves you. Someone who respects you. Someone you can trust.

Someone who, in a very uncertain world, is sure of nothing, but knows they want to be with you.

To anything else, no thank you.
