Morning Sun on Kangchendzonga.
In Nov 2017 we were in Dzongu, Sikkim, home of the indigenous people, the Lepchas. This is from our homestay, before our trek to Tholung monastery, beyond which, the Lepchas say, lives the Migo, local name for Yeti.

Which Indian mountain is referred to as the Golden Mountain?
Kanchenjunga, India’s highest mountain, is often called the “Golden Mountain” because of the golden glow it reflects at sunrise and sunset — a sight that has inspired legends, local beliefs and centuries of awe.
Missing Himalayas already; horse riding in Pelling, Kanchenjunga views, forest safari at Sevoke, 6000 ft hiking at Kalimpong, playing with monk kids in Zuluk, Zuluk Silk Route scenic driveway, tea garden & snowfall of Gangtok.
