@DrKwasniewski I know lots of Catholics with 5-10 kids who have never been to a TLM. The TLM didn't save the priests ordained in the 50s and 60s from rampant heresy. The priests who came of age after the promulgation of the new rite are actually more orthodox on average, as surveys show
@JosephJDewey@Sara_Costa_1008@ryanswalters73 But now the average Mormon has less than 2 kids. Which means in about 200-300 years it will be dead like many other heretical sects. That's a prophecy for you, and it will only become more valid as time goes on
@JosephJDewey@Sara_Costa_1008@ryanswalters73 50% of people raised Mormon leave the cult, and they get a very tiny amount of converts because it's hard to get all the sexual perversion of the Presidents and the irrational doctrines if you don't have the family pressure. It's survived this long only because of high TFR
@PaulinusOfTrier That the Church has the right to reform the liturgy, and require priests and faithful to conform to it. Seems the SSPX reject this but they will not spell it out
@teachrobotslove Eh, my wife got me into keto. It was before we were married/had kids, but we continued it. And the kids are far less picky than the average because they're not used to eating carb garbage all the time
@RobertMSterling@aidannonx You're implying that our allies were better than the other side, while in fact one of the reasons the Taliban came to power was because they were against this ( bacha bazi )
@klemorali@romanhelmetguy Will have to figure out how to send the poor people there, because rich people aren't gonna be the ones to deal with cancer due to irradiation, osteoporosis due to microgravity, etc etc
@benjamin_horne If it's not a 2-3x productivity boost you're using it wrong. Don't just keep doing the same things, but "with AI". Imagine what you could do if you had a team of engineers who work non-stop and write code insanely fast.
