@AppyOrtho I'm History teacher from Michigan teaching in Texas. I always tell my students that they should not feel ashamed to be southern. Slavery was bad of course and I support the preservation of the union, but that does not mean that the South is not worth celebrating.

@BibleInContext1 Oliver Cromwell killed 1,000's of Catholics at St. Peter's Catholic Church during the siege of Drogheda. I still have family who live there. All of Ireland is filled with Mass rocks with bullet holes in them. Ireland lost half of her children during a Protestant made famine.
