We've opened two new Siemens Sola MRI scanners at Queen’s Hospital.
They can complete some scans much faster than the previous machines, particularly for patients needing imaging for back problems, joint pain, and muscle injuries.
April saw our highest ever average daily numbers, 1027 people in A&E each day. Over 80% were treated in 4 hours, the highest since July 2024.
Our plan to transform A&E at Queen’s Hospital will help reduce long waits for everyone. Read about our performance

@BHRUT_NHS I, along with two of my Patient Partner colleagues, was privileged to attend the launch of the unit. I learnt so much about the amount of research BHRUT carries out. I was also in awe of knowledge and enthusiasm from all the medics in the room

Chineze was the only clinician to listen to Amisha & diagnose this potentially fatal birth complication.
