We’ve held our first robotic surgery ‘super week’ for joint replacements, completing 17 operations, a mix of hip and knee replacements, across five days.

In an average week we’d do around six robotic joint replacements.

A woman from Ilford is recovering after a rare 12-hour double cancer operation at King George Hospital. The procedure combined pelvic exenteration with heated chemotherapy and was only the third of its kind that we've carried out.

We've opened two new Siemens Sola MRI scanners at Queen’s Hospital.

They can complete some scans much faster than the previous machines, particularly for patients needing imaging for back problems, joint pain, and muscle injuries.
