High Volume Lap Cholecystectomy list on a Saturday at elective hub @BHRUT_NHS. Took 27 gall bladder patients off our waiting list in one day. Fantastic to be part of massive team work with @docsamrat, Mr Sarwary, Mr Buhain, @DivNhs. Our anaesthetic colleagues and nurses. 1/2
A month’s worth of operations in just two days. 👊
Shout out to this @BHRUT_NHS surgical team, who performed 25 gall bladder removals through their innovative high volume theatre list days.
Through robotic and laparoscopic procedures, they were able to cut their waiting lists.

We've had a fantastic day visiting @BHRUT_NHS. It’s been great to hear all about what the trust is doing to improve the working environment for staff and trainees, alongside some exciting developments in robotic surgery and the elective surgical hub

Delighted to have Professor Sir Mike Richards visit @BHRUT_NHS & demonstrate the opportunities with TNE, Robotic Colonoscopy, #GutFeeling & the benefits of closer integration of Elective Hubs & CDCs. The great progress made by Radiology was visible & we visited Barking CDC site.
Increased lymph node yield is associated with superior survival after esophagectomy, without increasing morbidity. Extended lymphadenectomy is an important part of multimodal treatment of esophageal cancer. https://t.co/lulg8hoExk #esophagealcancer#esophagectomy@mivanbh
Stranded @HamadInternationalAirport (Doha) for 24 hrs due to delayed Qatar airlines flight leading to a missed connecting flight! Poor customer service and support from #Qatarairways as no hotel/lounge access provided while we wait in an airport chair for 24 hrs with a kid😞
