The pad sitting into the mat as an insert makes it much more enjoyable to use.

After you hit, you just brush the pad with your club and it’s good for the next shot. Takes 2 seconds.

This is a 2 minute video of exactly how I do my backyard practice sessions.

Important details:
- 3 exaggerated shots
- 1 shot off @DivotBoard (I nailed this one 👊)
- 1 exaggerated practice swing
- 1 full air swing to “flush” the technique
- 1 full speed shot no technique

Things I do to make it as hard and intentional as possible:
- if the ball is sitting up on the turf I tap it down to get as bad of a lie as possible
- I sort of reset between each ball so I’m not rapid firing
- Divot Board for the instant feedback
- full routine on the full speed ball
- fully focused throughout this 2 minutes
