Today @Vonterinon and I are launching CBFC Watch, an archive of over 1 lakh censorship records for ~18k movies released in India since 2017. For the first time, you can search for any movie and see how they were modified before release.

Before/after mapping the area where I stayed in Goa on OpenStreetMap. Nice seeing blank areas turn colorful.

I looked at data from Indian elections to find similar-sounding candidates and analyze some of the different ways they show up. We then tried turning those similarity scores back into visuals which you can play around with. Illustrations by @ar_biese
