Gaza is taking its last breaths, and the situation we have reached is extremely dangerous.

Temperatures are rising to suffocating levels, and the tents where hundreds of thousands live have turned into ovens made of fabric and plastic. There is no electricity, no air conditioning, no fans, no cold water. People try to sleep, but heat, hunger, and fear make sleep seem like an impossible dream.

Clean water is scarce, cleaning supplies are almost nonexistent, and essential medicines are unavailable. Skin diseases are spreading in a terrifying way among children and adults, while garbage piles up and sewage mixes with displacement areas, spreading even more suffering.

Long lines form for food, yet many return empty handed. Aid is decreasing, and most relief centers have stopped or are no longer able to meet even the minimum needs.

At night, rats, insects, snakes, and scorpions crawl into the tents, while during the day people face unbearable heat and endless hunger. There is no safety, no privacy, and nowhere to go. Meanwhile, killings and destruction continue daily, while Gaza’s space shrinks day by day, forcing people into smaller and more overcrowded areas.

This is not life. This is not displacement. This is a complete collapse of everything that allows human beings to live with dignity.

What more is the world waiting for? How many children must go hungry? How many patients must die before the world acts? Do not stay silent. Speak about Gaza. Share what is happening.

Chilling new assessment from the Chinese defence-tech firm Jingan Technology, reported in SCMP: any US military attack on Cuba is most likely this summer.

The form, per the firm’s open-source analysis, would be a “decapitation and paralysis” operation aimed at regime change, opening with cyber and electronic warfare. The driver: a US administration that “urgently needs to achieve a low-cost, high-yield symbolic strategic victory” in its “geopolitical backyard” as its war on Iran fails to deliver, ahead of November midterms in which Trump’s poll numbers are already collapsing.

US reconnaissance flights have intensified around Cuba since mid-April. The USS Nimitz carrier strike group arrived in Kingston, Jamaica earlier this week. Trump declared on Thursday he would “handle” Cuba as soon as his administration moved on from Iran. All this sits on top of the recent federal indictment of comrade Raúl Castro.

The wider picture is clear. The empire has lost its war on Iran. It cannot intimidate China or break Russia. It is desperate for a “win” somewhere, and the small socialist island nation but 90 miles from Florida – the country which has been defending its sovereignty and standing up to US imperialism for 66 years – is the obvious target.

Vigilance and global solidarity are essential. We must demand an immediate end to the blockade, the indictment, the threats and the naval pressure. We must organise in our own countries against our governments’ complicity. We must amplify the voice of Cuba and of every state in the Global South standing with it. Cuba is not alone.

There you go: the FT confirms that not only is the NSA using Anthropic's AI "for offensive cyber operations" against "nations such as China or Iran" but Anthropic is actively helping them in that effort.

As per the article, Anthropic "installed about half a dozen staff within the NSA as so-called forward-deployed engineers to guide the use of the technology and customise models for specific applications."

It confirms two things. First: the United States is the most aggressive state actor in cyberspace, by far. It offensively infiltrates other nations' networks, and is now supercharging that capability with AI. Heck that is literally one of the core mission statements of the NSA, one of the largest security agencies of the US government.

Second, that Anthropic's carefully cultivated image as the ethical, safety-first AI company that "partners with the church" is a fiction. In reality, it is the most deeply embedded AI company in the US security state. Instead of building guardrails, they're literally weaponizing their own AI inside the NSA.
