And that is the problem with your party. You do not know how to put a mirror to your face. You also haven't learnt any lessons from Nkandlagate. You also have not reflected on the sobering lesson by the ConCourt and those searing words by Mogoeng Mogoeng - that is - "The president is a constitutional being by nature of his office."
Instead of coalescing around the spirit of the constitution, you pressure and frogmarch your MPs towards positions that later come back to bite. It is precisely these intellectually vacuous slogans that you have written below, that sink your party. They create your false sense of invincibility. You will sink all your presidents with this attitude. For all his faults, Zuma was also ultimately sunk by an ANC that put a stamp of approval on all his moves, instead of steering him firmly towards constitutionalism. That's on your party.
Here you are again, sloganeering instead of maturely chewing on what the Apex court is telling you. The irony is that the ANC was a leader in pushing for and creating Section 89 of the constitution. Politically and intellectually, the provision emerged from the broader negotiations, of the 90s. It was designed to ensure that NO PRESIDENT would be above constitutional accountability after apartheid. Instead of being tactical, humble and strategic, you ignore the constitution and that comes back to bite. You can find ways of protecting your presidents by subjecting them to constitutional processes. However tough and uncomfortable, it will be far better than this egg on your faces. These slogans are tired now.
You should have allowed your president to challenge the report, legally. And left MPs to honour their constitutional duty.
Commissars, fighters, ground forces, fellow South Africans, Africans, and diaspora, Good morning. We must never compromise our revolutionary ideas for political expediency. True feelings of love must drive us and therefore say to the person next to you that revolutionary good morning.
Please give those African children a big hug to remind them that we love them and there's still hope because the @EFFSouthAfrica, a home of the hopeless, is still in existence. We shall overcome, SALUTE!βπΏ
What if they book Makhadzi to perform when Bafana Bafana are playing and during halftime Makgopa is dancing to the music playing outside and not listening to the coach
