For those who are attending @OHBM brainhack, I will be giving a short presentation of this work at the neuroimaging statistics workshop, co-hosted with brainhack: https://t.co/4L7YhsZYGM
In a meta-analysis of 210 biomedical AI studies that statistically compared models under cross-validation, 97% used invalid statistical tests.

Delighted to share our new paper in Biological Psychiatry Global Open Science. We critically appraise 18 neuroimaging-based clustering studies in schizophrenia and ask whether brain-derived subtypes are reproducible, biologically valid and clinically meaningful. https://t.co/Z5NKUVSSGd @UBC_IMH@UBC_Psychiatry@RuiyangGe@YU_Yue_Tong@SOBP@MountSinaiPsych #brain #schizophrenia #AI #neuroimaging
We often treat functional connectivity as if it’s an established measure of TMS target engagement. I’m not so sure.
Check out our new paper by Samantha Baldi in @npp_journal on rsfMRI data from a head-to-head TMS trial.

Diffusion MRI (dMRI) is a powerful tool to study white matter maturation. In our new preprint, we process and distribute a new resource of >24,000 ABCD dMRI scans using open source tools! We then evaluate how methods shape inferences about development.

Huzzah for @stevenmeisler.com, whose preprint on our new fully-processed ABCD dMRI data resource is now out. The super-clear results from this monumental effort will undoubtably change the way we approach studies of white matter development going forward.
We are thrilled to announce that the Asia-Pacific Computational and Cognitive Neuroscience Conference (#APCCN2026) will be held this July!

#IRAN is a land of poetry, culture, and human rights from Cyrus the Great to brave women like Atossa, Artemisia, and Mahsa Amini. No regime can erase this legacy. The internet is cut. Silence is forced. But the people are not silent they stand in the streets against the regime.

Loved being connected with everyone during OHBM ❤️
The photo below all started with a simple message: “Let’s go for a casual dinner!”
which we ended up calling the Open Dinner!
Let’s make it even bigger next year in Bordeaux, France.
#OHBM2025
Now that’s what I call a small group dinner at #OHBM! 😄 Such a wonderful night full of immersive, insightful conversations. I’ll be missing the company, huge thanks to all the friends who joined, and to @DkNewsha for making it happen!
#MemoriesMade#OneForTheBooks ✨
This year, I spoke about PEACE with a heavy heart. I deeply hope for peace for all innocent people around the world.
Thank you to all our speakers and organizers for this session.
Please stay tuned for the upcoming paper.

Such a great vibe and experience chairing this year’s Brainhack with @HeblingVieira !
Can’t wait for the next one in Bordeaux.
Huge thanks to all our participants, volunteers, and OSSIG members for making it such a great experience!

Kicked off my annual OHBM ritual with an energizing Brainhack, full of inspiring discussions and collaborations.
Huge thanks to the OSSIG community & amazing volunteers who made it all happen—especially this year’s chairs, @HeblingVieira & @DkNewsha 🧠✨ #OHBM2025@OhbmOpen
Massive shoutout to Elena Pozzi for leading such a comprehensive look at MDD brain connectivity with the ENIGMA consortium. Global collaboration, big sample, and important insights into how depression reshapes the brain. #OHBM2025
Are you interested in the advantages and disadvantages of using AI in neuroimaging?
Curious about best practices and real-world experiences?
Join us for today’s (26th) panel discussion at the OSR Room and be part of the conversation shaping the future of our field!
Time : 1 pm
#OHBM2025 Want to learn about how to leverage longitudinal data to map neurobiological & environmental predictors of disorders? @DkNewsha from our lab will present a talk on Longitudinal Insights into Adolescent Mental Health.👏🏼
