@profstonge I worked at Ford in Chicago for 12 years. They didnt hire anyone between 2008 and 2012, apprenticeship rolls didnt open up until around 2020, and each trade maybe got 5 apprentices...maybe. this is self induced. The skilled trade majority is at 30 years, ready to retire.
