The Pan-African Parliament expresses grave concern over tensions between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the State of Eritrea and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and their potential repercussions for peace, security and stability in the Horn of Africa and across the continent.
The Bureau of the Pan-African Parliament urges the three countries to exercise utmost restraint, maintain diplomatic channels and refrain from actions or statements that could escalate tensions. It reaffirms respect for sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, non-interference in internal affairs and the peaceful settlement of disputes as fundamental principles of the African Union.
Supporting the African Union Commission’s call for de-escalation and dialogue, the Pan-African Parliament encourages all parties to enable African diplomatic efforts to address differences, build trust and promote good neighbourliness.
The Pan-African Parliament also expresses concern over renewed fighting in northern Ethiopia and calls for the protection of civilians, unhindered humanitarian access and political solutions that preserve the country’s unity and prevent further suffering.
The Bureau stresses that issues concerning water resources, development and regional security require cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests, safeguarding the rights and aspirations of all affected peoples.
In fulfilment of its mandate, the Pan-African Parliament stands ready to contribute through parliamentary diplomacy, in coordination with African Union institutions, to strengthening communication and encouraging peaceful solutions.
The Pan-African Parliament reaffirms that peace is a shared responsibility and that sustained dialogue remains essential to lasting stability and development.
Naval and Andrew Huberman changed my life.
I watched hundreds of their videos over the last few years.
Here are the 20 best lessons I learned that will change your life:
A few mechanics that stuck with me.
1. Measure results, not effort.
2. Spot low-leverage busywork before it becomes a year-long habit.
3. Start before you're ready. Starting is the hard part.
4. Year check: are you still fighting the same problems as twelve months ago?
5. Action is intention made physical. Rare alignment, rare results.
Agency is the point.

My new book "The Law of The Sublime" comes out on November 10th.
I wrote this book because we struggle today to find more meaning in our lives, and to experience the world in ways that go beyond the virtual.
The Sublime connects us to the immense forces in the universe, to the inner worlds of other people, and even to other species, lifting us out of ourselves and giving us the dimensions and depths we yearn for in our lives.

"There are at least two kinds of games. One could be called finite, the other infinite. A finite game is played for the purpose of winning, an infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play."
- James P. Carse in Finite and Infinite Games.
Football, chess, a job interview: finite. Lifelong learning, marriage, a career: infinite. A career can contain finite games (interviews, titles) without becoming one.
The trap: turning kids or work into a finite game with a rigid scoreboard. “my daughter must become a doctor”. “Son must share my values before our relationship can deepen”. Title first, joy later. That sucks the play out of it.
This book gave me a new lens for viewing the world. Even if you skip the dense aphorisms, keep the frame.
Robert Greene: Learn by Doing
“The brain is designed to learn through constant repetition and active, hands-on involvement. Through such practice and persistence, any skill can be mastered.”
