Vassar chemistry is hiring again! We’re looking for an analytical chemist passionate about teaching and mentoring undergrads through courses, research, and service. Come join the vibrant Vassar community! https://t.co/M49uvV7xWZ
Happy 20th birthday to Yandulov and Schrock's report in @ScienceMagazine on catalytic ammonia synthesis from N2 using a molecular catalyst! What a big moment in the field. My favorite part: four isolated intermediates all shown to be equally active.

🚨I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining the Department of Chemistry at Stony Brook University @StonyBrookChem this fall as an assistant professor! Research in the Bruch Lab will sit at the intersection of synthesis, catalysis, and electrochemistry… 1/2
@CasadevallCarla@BASF_ES I’m so excited to visit the legendary @ICIQchem to share our science and to reconnect with old friends and make new ones! See you soon!!
@DrTodd_Hudnall We have a version with more lab-specific details. They read that manual first, then the box lead gives a ca 1 hr hands on training. This includes interactive questions, where the new researchers explain concepts from the manual and practice operations. Def need an in-person part
We recently revised our group manual for our inert atmosphere gloveboxes. It was a fun team writing exercise which will hopefully make training users and maintaining the boxes easier. Just posted on The Safety Net for those curious how we operate: https://t.co/a01HnWS1vW
Is your favorite metal in an iPhone? And how does it get there? Must be some nifty sustainable inorganic chemistry underpinning this recycling technology. https://t.co/191C8VDZRZ
Well timed for the Inorganic Reaction Mechanisms GRC starting today! If you can’t make it to Galveston, reading this special issue of @Orgmet_ACS is the next best thing. Lots of fantastic mechanistic studies to dig into here!
Studying reaction mechanisms is a fundamental task in chemistry. In this recent @Orgmet_ACS Virtual Issue, we explore reaction mechanisms for catalytic processes to design better catalysts and optimize results. Explore the articles today:

Our lab at EPFL is looking to hire a postdoc to develop new, low-cost cation exchange membranes for redox flow batteries. See details: https://t.co/1AGvDmFPuY #postdocjobs RT welcome.
Developing this model with Faraj Hasanayn and @patholland_0 and @alansgoldman was so much fun! I look at N2 complexes in a whole new way now… excited to see how reconsidering how we draw and classify bridging N2 can lead to new chemistry!
Lewis Structures and the Bonding Classification of End-on Bridging N2 Transition Metal Complexes https://t.co/5NdQQBV0nR
No more dotted lines and handwaving in the description of bridging N2 complexes (which, btw, will help us sustainably feed the world).
